00奇妙的街头漫步
加尔各答街头漫步，很奇妙的一次徒步，大概逛了5个小时，饱览异国风情，品尝风味小吃，购买特色产品，真是太美妙了，刚到吋丢觉得凌乱，糟杂，但坚持下，一小时后习惯了就可亨受这美妙了

Die Walking-Tour mit Tuhina war die beste Tour, an der wir in unserer zweimonatigen Indienreise teilgenommen haben. Tuhina hat uns durch den "Melting Pot of Calcutta" geführt, sie hatte auf all unsere Fragen eine fundierte Antwort. Ihr Wissen, ihre Begeisterung und ihre Liebe zu Calcutta machten die Tour lebendig und anschaulich. Es war schön zu sehen, wie sie mit den Einheimischen vor Ort interagierte und uns neben den Informationen auch die Lebensart und das Essen von "Grey-Town" zeigte. Wir haben auch viel gemeinsam gelacht und sind über Vieles ins Gespräch gekommen. Vielen Dank Tuhina für die tolle Tour.

The Confluence of Culture walk was brilliant and a beautiful insight into the multi cultural and the religious pluralism of the beautiful city of Calcutta. Thanks to Tuhina and her knowledge and love for the city we had a wonderful time!

We did this and 3 other walks over 2 days and found them all to be brilliant. Our guide ( sorry, Explorer!!) Ram was absolutely first class and so knowledgeable and enthusiastic! We cannot recommend him, and Calcutta Walks, highly enough.
Book some walks you definitely won't regret it.

I had a great afternoon with Ram. I was travelling alone and asked at very short notice (same day) for a tour. Within 2 hours we met up and spent the afternoon wandering through the streets of Kolkata. Ram was great - very knowledgeable, patient and all around good company. I then went on and joined a Street Food Tour the next day with Ram!

I actually did this and also the colonial tour. Both were excellent. The information is on a very high level - fascinating history, not superficial. The guide was very knowledgeable and personable. I also really like that it is walking the streets.

I highly recommend these walks to both, visitors as well as residents of Kolkata. Our walk was led by Ramanuj who was such an excellent storyteller and a narrator of history, I immediately went to bookstore after the walk and bought myself a few books to learn more! I’m immensely grateful that Calcutta Walks exists, can’t wait to go back and see more of Calcutta with them!!

Had a great experience taking this walk with Ramanuj.
He is an amazing explorer and we shared a lot of stories about the culture and people that make of Calcutta. On the same day we visited buddhist monastery , an anglo indian colony at Bow barracks, English church, Portuguese church, Synagogue, Zoroastrian temple, a Chinese temple and the local markets and streets.
Had always known that Calcutta had a great variety of cultures but experienced it first hand and thanks to Ramanuj for making the experience all the most nice!

We had a lovely time on this 3 hour long walk! It was very interesting! We tried several food items while on this walk Ramanuj was very knowledgeable & explained everything im great detail!

On a self-guided visit, this is a stretch that you may walk past, clicking a few snaps, remembering what you read on Wikipedia and be done with it... some parts, you won't even think of considering as a tourist.
But with Ramanuj, it felt like diving head first into the fabric of the community. There weren't just facts, there was storytelling, humour, and lively conversation.
Calcutta Walks' hardwork into curating these experiences is evident in that fact that there were so many people along the stretch who knew Ramanuj, as if a friend. Shows that they've taken the effort to know people's stories, not just what's there in history books.
But with Ramanuj, it felt like diving head first into the fabric of the community. There weren't just facts, there was storytelling, humour, and lively conversation.

We did two walks during our stay: Dalhousie Square with Ifte and Confluence of Cultures with Ramanuj. We enjoyed the first walk with Ifte so much that we decided to do another the next weekend! Both of the walks were an excellent way to learn about the history of the city in a way that we could never do on our own, and Ramanuj and Ifte were extremely energetic and knowledgeable guides. The walks started early (by our student-schedule standards) but were very much worth it!! We'd highly recommend Calcutta Walks to other visitors!
