Shanghai was the last stop of 5 on our private tour of China. In Shanghai our guide was Elaine. She met us on time at the train station (arriving from Hangzhou) and conducted the tours over the next two days to the Shanghai Museum, Yuyuan Garden,
the Bund, cruise tour on the Huangpu River, Tianzifang, and a visit to Tongli Water town. We arranged to be dropped off at the cruise ship pier, which was a challenge, but she handled it very well. I would recommend this tour to anyone. Thanks Elaine and China Travel Guide tours!.

We visited Shanghai as our last stop for 2 nights and 3 days as a part of our 10 day tour through China using Travel China Guide. Our guide, Kris Lee, and driver met us at the airport and took us directly to our awesome hotel in the Yu Garden area. Kris was super friendly, knowledgable, and fun! We traveled with our 2.5 year old which worked out thanks to not only the tour company planning our days around her schedule, but our super awesome tour guide was very understanding and our daughter loved him! Thank you for a trip of a lifetime!

Having now seen several cities, we would recommend spending more time in Shanghai. Our tour guide, Ocean, was excellent. We appreciated his wealth of knowledge, experience in logistics, and presentation/speaking skills. We visited a couple of historic gardens, the "Venice" of China, and the Oriental Pearl tower.

Had a day tour of Shanghai and 2 days at Suzhou. Were disappointed by the attitude of our guide. He was mediocre at best, gave superficial explanations and spent a lot of time texting on his cell phone. His favorite statements was- now is your “free time” leaving us alone to explore museums and wander I the streets of Tongi. He acted more as a person who brought us to places and let us figure things ourselves. He seemed disinterested and not engaged. We had to constantly ask him questions for him to explain and inform us. The driver was unfriendly and the only time he approached us was when he was supposed to get his tip at the end of the trip

We had a family tour with a group of 5 of varying ages. Our tour guide Chris Zhao was amazing and flexible to our needs . He grew up in the area and was very knowledgeable
of the highlights of the cities visited . It rained the 2nd day and Chris knew what part of tour to substitute until the rain stopped. The van drivers were great too, always on time and navigated the roads and traffic well. The Acrobatic Show is a must! Highly recommend!

We have just returned from China, a tour organised by Travel China. We were fortunate to have Mary Le as our tour guide to Suzhou. She was warm, personable, knowledgeable and articulate. She could speak English very well ....important for us as we could not speak Chinese. She was perceptive to our interests, ensured we had a wonderful lunch and managed our time most efficiently".

We very much enjoyed our 2 day Shanghai private tour arranged by Travel China Guide. It snowed the day we arrived in Shanghai, but our guide, Sophie Lee, was there to meet us when we arrived and made the very best of the snowy weather. She was delightful, upbeat and shared her passion for the beautiful city of Shanghai. We especially enjoyed our second day when we visited Tongli Water Town. Sophie's excitement of how beautiful Tongli was with snow was contagious. The following morning she escorted us on the Maglev train to the airport and made sure we were all checked in before saying goodbye. Sophie and Travel China Guide are the best!

Shanghai was really one of the best places my family and I visited this year. We stayed at Shangri-la Pudong which was very clean, with beautiful city lights and perfect weather. Plus it was so convenient because our hotel was only few steps away from the IFC mall and Super Brand mall. Overall we had a great time and had a hassle-free trip because our tour guide Martin from Travel China Guide was very helpful and accommodated us really well during the entire trip. I highly, highly recommend him whenever you want to explore China because for sure, you would have a smooth and relaxing trip just like we had.
