The tour and my tour guide (Sunny) were awesome! The original tour was supposed to include a visit to the observation deck at the Shanghai Tower but, it was too foggy to see anything. Instead, we had a delicious Chinese dinner and visited The Bund, Old Town Shanghai, and Nanjing Road. The following day the bad weather cleared and my tour guide helped source a ticket to visit Shanghai Tower. My guide went above and beyond, and exceeded all my expectations. Do yourself a favor and just book it!

We've chosen the private tour with driver. Although there was nothing like usual on this day because of a state visit (closed roads, ferries that did not run), the tour became an adventure and a great experience at the same time. Our guide Martin knew how to defy the adverse circumstances and to show us the most beautiful places of nightly Shanghai. He knew a lot about Shanghai and was able to answer all questions in detail. A great tour with a great guide.

It was a great tour, we de able to see the amaizing Shangai skyline and the old town. The ferry ride was incredible and or guide Annie was really nice.

We did this tour on 21 st March. Annie our guide was prompt and met us at the Grand Hyatt. The weather was shocking but she encouraged us to put up our umbrellas. She took us up the tall tower and gave us a very good dialogue. Her English is perfect and witty too. Then we walked to the Ferry and went across to walk along the Bund. She took lots of good photos for us and explained the history. We ended at a beautiful hotel which she showed us inside and then hailed us a taxi back to our ship. I would highly recommend this tour and Annie too because she is great fun to spend a few hours with.

I was in China for the first time in Shanghai by myself. I wanted to see the city and I used Sunny Tours to schedule a night tour through Trip Advisor. It was and outstanding tour led by Lily. It was very easy to set up and meet for the tour. Touring with Lily was like going on a trip with a friend. She was knowledgeable and easy to talk with throughout the whole tour. I really enjoyed the 4 hour tour including dinner with Lily. Very beautiful city, interesting tour guide and fun time. --Neil J

I took this tour alone, so it was like spending an evening with a friend.
My guide Lily was very easy to talk to, and she had lots of interesting information to share. She gave me complete freedom to choose how I wanted the tour to be. She even bought me steamed buns and fruits!
The views from atop the Shanghai Tower is breathtaking. The Bund has a lot of interesting buildings with western architecture, and the old town was a delight to walk around. I bought a lot of stuff, thanks to Lily's terrific bargaining skills!!
I really had only that one evening to look around Shanghai, and this tour made me get a flavour of the life in Shanghai in just about 4 hours. The price is slightly on the expensive side if you are taking the tour alone, but I would still say, go for it!!

Sunny's command of the English language and knowledge of Shanghai's history was excellent. The tour lasted about 3 hours including the trip to the top of the Pearl Tower, and ended with dinner at Din Tai Fung dumplings nearby. Sunny provided insight into Shanghai life, culture, and history while adding convenience for us as American tourists. Overall, I highly recommend.
