We had an excellent bespoke private tour fully adaptable for the day with Annie who was an excellent guide for our family of 5 (3 teens) and she gave lots of information about Shanghai 's history. We visited the Bund, Old Shanghai Town, French Concession and Zhujiajiao Water town. Annie made sure we were most comfortable despite the heat in the summer and we had our son with autism , which allowed us to adapt our itinerary flexibly. Annie's English was excellent and she is also a great photographer. Highly recommended

Lily Zhang was an excellent guide who provided detailed information about each site that we were visiting. She also assisted us in buying jade jewelry, and silk shirts from legitimate local stores. We will recommend Lily to our friends who will visit Shanghai.

My son and I had the pleasure of having Feifei as our private tour guide in Shanghai, and it was a wonderful experience! Feifei's enthusiasm and knowledge of the city's history, culture, and hidden gems were impressive. The day tour was completely customizable to our interests and goals, making it feel like a personalized adventure.
Feifei arrived on time at our hotel to pick us up with a courteous driver and a Tesla (complete with complimentary water supply throughout the day). Despite our need to cut the tour short due to other engagements, Feifei was flexible and accommodating, showing no concern for the time spent had we needed to go longer for the day tour.
A highlight of the tour was the sumptuous Shanghainese lunch we enjoyed at a hidden gem near Yuyuan Garden. The restaurant, expertly chosen by Feifei, served authentic and mouth-watering dishes that left us craving for more. My son said it was his best meal in Shanghai. This culinary experience was a perfect complement to the rich cultural heritage we explored throughout the day.
What struck us most was Feifei's genuine passion for sharing her city's secrets and her willingness to go above and beyond. We couldn't recommend her more highly! If you're looking for a unique and enriching experience in Shanghai, look no further than Feifei.

Lily was a sweet and energetic tour guide. She took care of everything - from transportation and to our tickets. She showed us some incredible views and took us to some very authentic Chinese food in Shanghai. Please book this tour if you want to have a day you’ll never forget!

We met our guide at 8am and immediately felt we were going to have a great day. We made a plan to go early to the Shanghai tower to avoid queues. This was a great experience from the entrance that is full of scale models to the animation of the architectural history of the city. The lift to the viewing platform was exciting as it is so fast! The view is exceptional! Our lovely guide then whisked us off to the Yu garden. Here we learned a huge amount. The symbolic meaning behind lions and dragons as well as rice bring in the cement mix! We were tired by this point so we stopped for tea. I am glad to say I feel healthier already with my investment in some excellent detox green tea! Again we learned a lot!
Lunch was a delight. Our guide is a lot of fun. We were happy and relaxed munching away and chatting.
After this we went to the Bund and then the French concession. We managed to see and enjoy so much of the city due to it being just us to decide where we went and our guide was great at choosing our route. The experience was really excellent.

Amazing experience with a lovely guide, Sammi. Her English was perfect and she has lots of interesting fun facts to tell. She is flexible with planning and she could answer every question with detail. I would definetely recommend and repeat this tour with Sammi!

We had such a great day!! Lily was such a phenomenal guide... friendly and fun as well as smart and knowledgeable. We learned so much about the history of Shanghai and the places we visited. Our driver was great too. We had a perfect day!!

Hallo, in a private tour you can decide when and where you want the pick up . In a group tour you need to conform with the tour guide . You can also look for tours trom your hotel. Sometimes the meeting point is in the hotel and sometimes not far from your hotel. Also check on the internet for tours from Baoshan cruise terminal .

There is a lot of walking involved Im afraid but you would have to choose or specify that you want to have the option of a driver based tour. They should be able to cater for all types of requirements but there will probably be a premium to pay for this. Hope that is helpful.

I am sure that Sunny Tours can arrange a meet up. We were staying at a Disney hotel and not at one of the downtown hotels listed, so I elected to pay the extra for a pick up from our hotel and it worked out really well.
