Our instructor was Chef Linda and she was great with us. We made xiao long bao (a steamed soup dumplings filled with pork) and Shanghai-style fried spring rolls. These spring rolls pack a lot of flavor from a small bit of pork, cabbage, bamboo shoots, and shiitake mushrooms. The trick to making anything fired healthier and light is to have your cooking oil on high heat and only fry for 10 seconds until spring roll wrapper turns golden brown. Both were delicious and we ended up with lots of leftovers.

Two friends and I did this cooking class on September 13, 2018 and we could not have had a better experience! Chef Mike is a fantastic cook and a wonderful teacher. He is also really fun to hang out with! His kitchen facility is awesome and has everything you need. We chose to make the pork dumplings and sesame balls and both turned out great. Chef Mike also gives you the recipes so that you can make them at home, and I plan to make them in the next few weeks. This class was great and I would 100% recommend this to anyone.
