The flexibility of Jenny's team was unmatch. We are a busy family of four traveling as part of an expat assignment. Jenny's team put together an incredible tour for us. We had to reschedule the entire day 72 hours in advance and the team accommodated us. We also had a friendly driver and guide that showed us the amazing historical town during the extremely busy holiday week.

We took a half day tour with Jenny tour and our guide was Alice. She was super friendly and would go the extra mile to make you very comfortable. Alice was a great guide that feels like your close friend. She joked around with us, told stories of her family and explains very well about the places that we went to. My daughter had a massive nose bleed in the car on the way to zhujiaojiao, Alice went to buy us tissues, fruits for my daughter and even took her jacket to a laundry nearby to wash her jacket during our sightseeing. She felt like a cool aunt to my kids. And the drive to and from zhujiaojiao was very comfortable with the mini van that Jenny tour provide. The car was very clean n neat. Overall it was an unforgetable experience with Jenny private tour, I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family who are going to china!

Thanks to the flexibility and patience of Claire, my parents and 11 year old son had a very enjoyable time at Zhujiajiao. Local snacks were aplenty and Claire was able to highlight the pertinent ones that we should try. She was also able to cater to my son’s request to have hairy crab for lunch! Great time spent and we will definitely seek Jenny’s travel service once again! Thank you Jenny, thank you Claire!

We truly enjoyed the tour and our guide Clair was professional and excellent during the whole tour. I think the tour had a perfect mix of sightseeing and cultural activities such as sampling local eats. Even as someone who speaks mandarin and have been to this water town before, I was able to try and learn new things. I highly recommend this tour!
Also communications with Jenny was very easy and I can see she truly cares about each customer.

Alice and driver were awesome! Communication before, during & after was top notch! Highly recommend. Alice engaged us with many, many interesting stories of old and current Chinese cultures. She took & shared photos with us and delighted us with local treats, a wonderful water tour, and interesting ancient artifacts. I wouldn't hesitate to book another tour with Jennys Tour should we ever get back!

On our last day in Shanghai we had to check-out of the hotel some hours before we could board our cruise ship, so we booked this tour with drop-off at the cruise terminal. Jenny was most accommodating in adjusting the tour for us. An all-inclusive private tour with the two of us, a driver, an air-conditioned car and our english-speaking guide, Penny.
On the drive out, Penny gave us a running commentary on the history of the area as well as the various sights we saw.
One of the advantages of having a knowledgeable guide was learning a lot of secrets in the town. Who could have guessed that one private house is actually an art museum? We would never have found the quiet back-streets or discovered the shop selling weird foodstuffs. In case anyone wants to know, sparrow tastes a bit like guinea pig! We had a private tea ceremony, a private gondola ride and crossed the oldest bridge in the town. Penny explained why the steps on that bridge are particularly shallow and wide. I won't tell, you have to take the tour to find out.
Then it was back to Shanghai and the cruise terminal. Door-to-door service with a tour thrown in! Brilliant!

Peggy was already waiting in our hotel lobby as we came down, and our tour was highly organised, the car and driver excellent and Peggy made our day such a relaxed and informative one. Zhujiajiao Water Town exceeded our expectations, a must see when in Shanghai, larger area than expected, with something different at every turn. The private home and garden visit was extraordinary, and we were the only ones there at the time, such a treat to see an amazing collection of furnishings and artworks first hand. Peggy's knowledge of the history and stories regarding the home and contents added to our understanding of life in an earlier era.
Peggy was most helpful in securing a few souvenirs at great prices, nothing was too much trouble. The gondola ride was great, and we were surprised how few other Western tourists were there at the time.
We highly recommend Jenny's Tours, Peggy is such a fun, knowledgeable and efficient guide, our day was relaxed, interesting and just plain fun.

We were met at the cruise port by our talented guide, Apple, and wonderful driver Mr Xiao. The water town was beautiful, lunch was delicious. We loved the gondola ride, and found many great cheap souveniers. It is a place we would definately return to. Our guide, Apple, was the best. Such a happy, friendly, informative and intelligent person. She is also a very good souvenier price negotiator. We loved our day with her. Thanks Apple! After the water town, we were dropped off at the Maglev train, with plenty of time to spare for our flight back home. We recommend this tour company 100%. Definately a 5+ star rating from us.

August in Shanghai is hot. Like super, super, sweat the moment you walk out the door, hot. However, because of that, the town wasn’t crowded at all. So great. We really enjoyed our trip here. They have some great quality souvenirs and some fun food to try.
Jenny’s Tours is the absolute best. We loved spending the day with Apple. She is kind and friendly, informative and so smart!
If you’re planning to visit Zhujiajiao, do it with them. They are wonderful!

An easy car ride from Shanghai (we were in the Pudong area), this trip is a must-do. The reviews call Zhujiajiao "the Venice of China" and I would agree. We had a wonderful morning ambling along the streets, guided by the lovely Apple, who was so friendly and informative. Not to mention the gondola ride and delicious sticky rice dumplings! Very much recommended.

By what time do you typically return to Shanghai? I have a bullet train ticket at 5:00 and would hope to be back around 3:00
