The tour guide, Annie was very accommodating and knowledgeable) we went to the zoo and went to the water town afterwards. Would definitely recommend this tour )

It’s a great tour!! It has many different angles to it! And the zoo, the panda’s the lynx and all the beautiful animals then in the airco’d big car to the watertown. Annie knows everything, explains eveything in this cute and very instagrammable village. She explains all the food you see on the streets, the lotus seeds, the lovely local stuff. And then we went to a family ownded restaurant with a round table, to have this great Chinese lunch with a lot of local vegetables, local porc and chicken so delicious. And we got ricecake because we had two birthday people! After the lunch we got in the boat (Chinese Venice) to have a boatride with the perfect pace to see everything., threequartes of an hour backdrive to sHanghai. It is really a perfect trip, from out of Shanghai, to see and experience China more! Annie is great, she helps you with everything, what you want to order or buy!!!

The trip to the zoo in the morning was an interesting experience as you get to see a variety of animals which you will normally not find all in one place and this is not part of a typical itinerary a first time tourist undertakes to meet in Shanghai. All in all, it’s still a good two and a half hour walking journey in good weather in April 2024.
As for the second part of the tour to the water town, this is similar to the experience we got in Taipei’s Jiufen where you get to see and eat a lot of things of the past and I had fun eating and drinking as I took nice pictures in this non modern day environment. The weather is also awesome this time of the year so feel free to take a trip down.

Annie was an amazing guide, the zoo was super clean and nice, Zhujiajiao is a beautiful water town.
Annie made sure to translate to and for us and acomodated our wants and needs.

Sunny, our fantastic guide, promptly led us to the zoo, sharing Shanghai's history and architecture en route. The zoo's marvels included Pandas, Tigers, and bears. We then explored Water Village, a local market for bartering and shopping, enjoying a serene village center boat ride. Our journey concluded with delicious local Chinese cuisine at a charming restaurant. A truly unforgettable experience!

Viator is trust worthy tour operator. I use them in all my international sightseeing tours. This time I took Viator services in Shanghai China 🇨🇳. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. On time to pick us up at hotel.
