The tour guide was an informative, experienced, and fun person to have! My friends and I had a blast getting to know a bit of Costa Rica, even in the rain with the enthusiasm of our tour guide. Would recommend it to other adventurers who'd like to know La Fortuna!

My husband, daughter and I had a private tour on a perfect sunny day. It was a perfect mix of easy walking and rocky climbs to get a good workout. The views of the volcano and lake were gorgeous. We learned about the Viper snake right as I started to get close to one to take a photo. The tour guide encouraged me to move along quickly as she explained that one bite could kill me. We refreshed with treats and beer after the hike then moved on to enjoy the Tabacon Hot Springs. The tour included dinner after the hot springs, and we were given lockers. The dining atmosphere was very nice, and the food was delicious. The activities complimented each other perfectly.

The arena volcano walk was made even better thanks to our guide Antonio who was fantastic. His knowledge of the fauna and the flora that he would share generously was excellent ! We then went to the waterfalls for a dip in the cold water under the tropical rain, an unforgettable experience.
After a really lovely lunch we went to the suspended bridge area where we saw all kind of animals and trees.
We booked the three tours but they can be done separately. Highly recommended.

Ha sido un paseo muy agradable. La guía Karina y el chófer Hermes ha sido muy amables.

We had an amazing experiance with David as our guide! His knowledge of the area was impressive and he had an ability to find so much wildlife. He passion for the tours is pure. We did the full day of hike, waterfall, hanging bridges and hot springs. The hot spring dinner was a perfect way to unwind after a busy day. We highly recommend this company!

We took this tour with a tour guide Jose who walked us around the Arenal Hanging Bridges Park. He told us interesting facts about the park itself, flora and fauna. He has a great catchy eye and helped us to see animals and birds. He is also a good photographer!
We enjoyed soaking at Baldi Hot Springs thermal pools. Please note to have $7 with you to pay for a locker if you wish to get one.

Hicimos la caminata al volcán y el descenso por el bosque. Se trata de una finca de turismo sostenible, por lo que nos pareció una opción acertada. Te explican con todo detalle como sucedió la erupción y la historia de los pueblos aledaños, lo que afectó a la zona y el turismo cómo evolucionó. Es una corta caminata de ascenso, con suerte se ve el volcán descubierto y tras la explicación se procede a descender. Un poco de fruta y se continúa el descenso por el bosque. No vimos muchos animales pero valoramos mas que la guía autóctona nos explicase detalles y evolución de la zona. La guía, Rosa, un encanto. Como persona y como profesional. Se nota que ama su trabajo. Gracias por la experiencia!

We had the best experience with Ecoterra, from the transportation, to the beautiful hotels, and the one time we had an issue, it was handled quickly and efficiently by our Jordy. We would definitely use them again if we return to Costa Rica!

Our afternoon started with a short drive to the volcano interrupted by our guide spotting Toucans and Sloths in the trees and stopping to allow us to see them. The walk was interesting with one steep climb but mostly easily manageable. Our guide told us about the history of the area, about the living fences, flora and fauna before going back to the bus for pineapple and melon. I think we were unlucky with our visit to the Paradise hot springs. We arrived at 1730hrs to be told that there were no lockers available so we had to drag our clothes around with us, keeping an eye on them instead of relaxing in the pools. We were told that we could not eat between 1900hrs and 2000hrs due to a large group that had booked and our pick up was at 2100hrs which turned out to be American High School kids. So we had a disjointed visit, didn't relax as much as we could and the buffet dinner was uninspiring. The pools and facilities are there to be enjoyed, it was just unfortunate that when we went it was very busy.

Hi, is there a minimal age for children? Planning a trip in a few months and my son will be 3 1/2. He's always done well on excursions with us and we would like to bring him. If so, do we need to pay a child's fee?

bonjour si je prends le pack source chaude Baldi (ou Tabacon) + diner, est ce qu'on peut partir de l'hôtel à 14H30 ? ou c'est un départ le matin à 7H30 ? La randonnée est elle inclus dans ce pack ?
