This was one of the highlights of our trip to Costa Rica. 110% recommend Raul and this tour. Raul has a great energy and enthusiasm. His passion for the outdoors and beautiful Costa Rica are palpable. We were able to see so many animals that we would have completely missed if we had been floating down the river on our own. Not only did Raul find monkeys, but he talked to them as well which was quite entertaining. We came away from the tour with a greater sense of awe for nature and all the wonderful kinds of animals in this world, as well as a greater love for the beautiful country of Costa Rica. Five stars for Raul and the Green Vacations company.

We loved our tour with Raul. It felt like a perfect option to do with kids - it lasted about 4 hours in total (including driving there and back from The Springs Resort) and was a pretty relaxing way to see wildlife and experience the beautiful and peaceful river. We saw tiger herons, a basilisk, bats, howler monkeys and iguanas. It was a bonus to visit a local cafe at the end of the tour where we enjoyed some absolutely delicious snacks - I will be thinking about the banana bread for a long time! Thank you Raul for being such a wonderful guide. Pura Vida!

We had an incredible time with Raul, he was able to spot animals that others guides did not. We saw Caiman, a Sloth, Howler Monkeys, Iguanas, and lots of birds. We would recommend to all friends!

Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and talkative. He always helped us stop the float boat when there were animals. We saw lots of animals, like monkeys, toucans and sloths. We had a extraordinary experience! Highly recommend this tour and this company!!!

Raul, Hector, and Ray welcomed us to Costa Rica with a safari boat ride on our first day and we had an amazing time! They were all so friendly and made the trip truly unforgettable. We saw howler monkeys, a sloth, iguanas, birds, and tons of plants. It was so cool to end the trip at a small local family farm with fresh snacks and drinks as well. We enjoyed the trip so much that we booked a hike with them the next day!

We had a great time today on the safari float tour. Our guide Raul was really adept at finding crowds of howler monkey's in the trees. The ride itself was fun and we shared the adventure with a lady with 2 young girls in the same raft.
It was to me, a mild ride but the guide said it was a class 2 rapid.
The weather was great and not the expected rainstorm. I would recommend it to really everyone.

This was a great experience for our family!
The tour was well organized including transportation from/to our hotel. Our tour guide, Roy, was very knowledgeable and pleasant. The tour itself was very safe and definitely not crowded. We were able to see a good number of animals along the way while our guide provided a lot of interesting information along the way. At the end of the tour we enjoyed drinks and a small meal made by a local family. Definitely a great experience if you are exploring la Fortuna

Love this experiences and it was pretty chill! The guide Pepe (I hope the spelling is correct) is super helpful. He would try his best to get the best view of wild animals along the way. We saw multiple kinds of beautiful water birds, as well as monkeys and sloths. Snacks and drinks at the end were quite nice too.

This was the perfect excursion for our family. We have 2 young children (2.5 & 4.5 years old) and after the Mistico Hanging Bridges (also great!) were at a bit of a loss as to what to do for our last day in the Arenal area. Green Vacations Wildlife Safari Float was just the ticket! Our guide, Roy, and driver, Hector, were wonderful and we enjoyed every minute of the manageable drive from our hotel, peaceful float (where we saw bats, birds, a turtle, spiders, & tons of howler monkeys), visit to a lovely farm, and the return shuttle trip even included a toucan and scarlet macaws! Thank you also to Karla in booking who helped us tremendously :)

This trip was arranged through The Springs Resort. We got picked up at the hotel, and then were driven to a house by the banks of the river while they prepped the raft and gave us quick instructions (and I got to pet the friendly dog.) Please forgive that I forget my guide's name, as he was wonderful. He took the time to point out everything to us, even getting in the water to hold up the raft to get us a better view. We saw monkeys, birds, a sloth, lizards, and more, and the nature along the banks was spectacular. Then at the end, we were given some snacks at a farm, which were great (fried plaintains, yucca bread, and cheese, along with juice or coffee.) I would highly recommend using this company.

The river combo, how long does it last. How long do you get to stay at the waterfall. if it is an all day adventure is lunch included?

River Combo is a full day option. We go to Safari Float, Hanging Bridges Walk and La Fortuna Waterfall in one day. Lunch is included.
