The guides were amazing. Beautiful area with waterfalls. It felt safe but thrilling. We had a 10& 11 year old that were able to do it all. The guides have a ways to modify for kids. It was one of our favourite adventures.

This is absolute must when visiting Costa Rica. They fit you with all the gear you need and transport you up a bumpy road in the back of a truck. The guides make you feel both comfortable and give you confidence that they know what they are doing. The first rappel is a little scary if it’s your first time but just take the leap. You do need to climb a rope ladder to the next station but even if you are not in the best of shape it’s doable. Next is the monkey drop, you will get soaked. Dress comfortably, I wore hiking shorts, a rash guard long sleeve swim shirt and tennis shoes.
The rafting is run by a different company, The Wave, also very experienced. Our raft guide Alonso was the best. He made sure we had a great time while also feeling safe. They stop midway for pineapple/watermelon. I saw people in anything from swimsuits to tshirts to rashguards.
Both companies take pictures that you can buy at the end. When you go rappelling they do have lockers to store any items. When you go rafting we left our belongings on the bus and changed in the bathrooms after.

Both water repelling and river rafting were incredible experiences and the perfect way to spend the day. The guides are so friendly, provide detailed information and are do clearly passionate about what they do. I was a little nervous going in to both activities but I felt super supported by the pure trek repelling team every step of the way. We also got really great pictures after of the biggest repel and even some videos.

Amazing tour! My husband and I went to Costa Rica for our 2nd anniversary and did the canyoning/waterfall rappelling with Pure Trek. It was our first time ever doing it and they made me feel safe and have fun! All the guides were knowledgeable and friendly.

Loved this tour!! Participated as a family with children aged 11 and 13 years. Great guides, very professional. Really unique way to experience the beauty of the rainforests and rivers.

Great day! I had never done rappelling before. I felt safe the entire time. (I'm in my late 50s). The guides are really in control the entire time and give you as much or as little "freedom" as you want. The monkey drop was great! There is a bit of hiking between some of the drops so be prepared. I would do this again in a heartbeat.
After the rappelling we were dropped off at the white water rafting office. I reviewed that separately but also great. We love white water rafting and this did not disappoint.
It's a long day but you will return to your hotel tired and happy.

So I've done this experience twice. did a girls trip and did a family trip. Both activities are exciting. The repelling...well im afraid of heights but our guides were so helpful and made you feel safe. The water felt great, the water falls were amazing. The walk when you go canyoning is a lot so pace yourself. Water rafting was fun. The guide was super cool and showed us a bunch of animals hiding while rafting. The fruit they give during water rafting was so sweet and delicious. I recommend using this particular company. They are great!!!!

Took our family of 5 waterfall rappelling (ages 9,12,16). It was an incredible experience. The staff were all very friendly and fun. We felt safe the entire time. You will be soaked at the end. Bring dry clothes to change into afterwards. We had lunch included and the restaurant was great. Food was very good. Water shoes are a must.

Is there a group session for the experienced Canyoneer? I have Canyoneering exploring experience in ZION and have done 20 or so canyons and I am a rock climber. Looking to go with a group that is fit.
