Kathy was such a patient, knowledgeable, friendly instructor! We had a great time learning talking to her about the food, history, and personal anecdotes. Food was delicious and we got the basics of salsa dancing down. A lovely way to spend the evening after a day of adventuring.

What a fun evening! Kathy was down to earth, and we were incredibly comfortable. The staff had a familial atmosphere that was extended, which was an absolute treat. She was a wonderful instructor, answered all of our questions and was a terrific dancer too! We lucked out with a small cooking group (4 of us) and 6 in the dance lesson. We had a blast!!

This class was very informative and interactive. The space was open and very clean.
We made several dishes and the made special costa rican alcoholic beverages for us as well.
Dinner was delicious!
Salsa lessons were awesome as well.

This really was alot of fun and nice to do especially on a rainy evening in La Fortuna. Everything is outdoors so that was a plus in this covid era. Had a great time making a traditional Costa Rican meal with others. Everyone played a part the meal was yummy. The salsa dancing was fun as well to dance off the food. It is worth checking out!

My friend and I wanted to learn more about Costa Rica’s culture and this tour was perfect for it!! We cooked authentic food from scratch and learned how to dance salsa, merengue, and bachata. Rosa was an amazing instructor, we had so much fun!!!

This was a really fun experience! My mom, sister and I wanted to do something we enjoy and something out of our comfort zone and this was perfect! The food we made was really good and I look forward to trying out the recipe when I get back home. The salsa lesson was FUN! None of us have rhythm so we struggled through but it was still enjoyable. I definitely recommend.
The facility was beautiful and very clean. The staff was kind and wore masks the entire time.

The food we learned to cook was easy and delicious. We had a fun time and Kat did a wonderful job and was very patient with us newbies cooks. The salsa and bachata dance lessons were so fun. It was perfect activity after such a good meal. Highly recommended!!
