Amazing experience!! I proposed to my now fiancé and it was a perfect experience. Laura and the team were great, the photographer was also great. Extremely happy I did this experience!!

Laura set up a beautiful, picture-worthy picnic. We went as a family of three couples and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Laura was also very accommodating when we had to change our date. It did start to rain towards the end of the picnic and Laura and her partner immediately came and took the furniture down. She was attentive and responsive throughout our entire communication.
I took one star off for a few reasons:
- The price was very steep. We paid about USD $710 which included a birthday cake. I did not think that the value of the picnic matched the price.
- For the price we paid, I expected better food.
- The wireless speaker didn’t turn on so we couldn’t play music
- They didn’t take credit card payments and only took wire transfers which was a bit more complicated and less protection for the consumer

Regarding your feedback:
Price: Our pricing reflects the comprehensive nature of our service, that is a luxurious setup on the beach, organized and prepared for our guests. It includes the preparation of equipment, setup and breakdown time on / off location, meticulous food preparation and high-quality ingredients which is costly.
Food Quality: We strive to provide the best culinary experience with premium ingredients. We are transparent of what the picnic includes and providing an option to add more food / services to enrich the experience. We regret that the food did not meet your expectations.
Speaker Issue: We apologize for the inconvenience and we will make sure to provide instructions on how to use the speaker.
Payment Method: We understand that wire transfers can be less convenient than credit card payments. We are currently exploring more flexible payment options to better serve our clients.
We appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve our services. Thank you for your understanding and for allowing us to be part of your special day.

Caracola created a perfect setting for one in a lifetime memories! We booked for a sunset picnic as a birthday surprise and it was PERFECTION! Beautiful setup/setting with delicious food. Laura is a delight to work with and we highly recommend!

I booked the Caracola Experience for my 90-year-old grandmother and aunt who were visiting me in Costa Rica and this was one of the highlights of our trip! My grandma specifically called out how wonderful the sunset picnic was as they were getting reading to fly home. The adorable couple that runs the business accommodated my request to set the picnic up close to the entrance and even helped her walk there. The wine and snacks were delicious and there were so many cute design touches that gave it a luxury, bohemian feel. Have done it twice already and will do it again. Highly recommend!

A very easy process to book with Caracola, exchanged only a few message and we were booked. I paid via a view transfer to a USA bank account which was quite simple. We booked only 3 days in advance and I was pleasantly surprised they had availability. We had a picnic for about 12 people celebrating the birthday of my fiancé. She loved the set up and the drinks, the umbrellas were very nice and the sitting was quite comfortable. Very nice to have everything set up when we arrived. Attention to detail was noticeable, a full setup for plates and glasses, even extra ice and cups. Would definitely use these guys again.

I’ve booked with them and they recommend me a location which was amazing not even that the setup was so amazing it looked like an advertisement. It was the best experience I’ve had. I even had an a photographer and she fell in love with the picnic setup as well. The food was also amazing. The picnic is seriously romantic and breathtaking also the host she’s so kind. I planned it to ask my girlfriend to marry me and it’s an amazing experience for me and now my fiancé. Thank you once again for this experience ❤️
