Last week we had a dive with TamaDive and it was a great experience. Remo was an enthousiastic guide and even under water he was constantly pointing stuff out to us. During the first dive we got lucky and witnessed a manta ray!!
In between the two dives the captain mentioned there was a possibility to spot humpback whales, so we went searching for them and found them!
Remo also took pictures under water and shared them with us for free after the dive!
Definitaly recommend diving with TamaDive!

I had two great dives in exciting locations with my guide Miguel. He came very prepared and even dove with an extra mask for me, which I ended up needing. The sea life was thriving and it was my first time diving with so many docile white tip reef sharks. The currents and thermoclines made the dives extra memorable. I look forward to diving with Tama again, maybe with the bull sharks :o

My family and I had the most amazing time on two different days of diving with Tamadive! Both days we did two tank dives. We dove at the Catalinas, Sombreros, and a couple of other smaller dive sites. We had the pleasure of diving with Franco both days and saw loads of wildlife. The dive spots were excellent and the staff were fun, knowledgeable, and friendly. We’ll certainly be back to dive with them again!

Thank you to Remo and the team for wonderful dives! The white tip sharks and schools of fish were amazing. During the boat ride we could also see humpback whales, dolphins and a jumping devil ray. The entire team at Remo was very helpful and friendly, plus their equipment was pretty new. Very professional service and comfortable diving experience.

The dives were wonderful and the equipment and boat in good condition! Tamadive guides really look after you - thank you so much ! We was lucky to find a mother and baby humpback whales on the route back and we got in the water with them - amazing!!!

My 15-year old son and I went on two dives with Franko and I was so impressed. We're still relatively new divers, and I'm always on the lookout for safe dive shops. It helps me enjoy the dive and not worry too much about my son! I have to say that I was completely impressed with TamaDive from start to finish. Franko was very thorough in briefing us before the dive and ensuring we were all clear about what to expect and the basics. All their equipment was in great condition, and the entire trip including transport to the dive sites, was efficient, comfortable and convenient. I would have no qualms about sending my son alone on the dive with Franko. Next time, we'd like to go and see the bull sharks! I would definitely recommend them.
We really enjoyed the dives themselves. We saw a lot of white tipped reef sharks, eels, octopi, lots of fish, a ray, a large lobster, and I'm not sure if you can spot the scorpion fish in one of the photos.
Note: We also dove with another family (mom, dad and their younger son). It was great seeing other young divers!

I had an amazing experience with Tama Dive and her instructor Remo. It was an extraordinary day of diving, full of adventure and learning. Although one of us had no previous experience, Remo was extremely patient and attentive, making sure we felt safe and comfortable at all times. His professionalism and knowledge made diving fun and educational. Also, after the dive, he sent us the photos we took during the dive, and they were spectacular. I definitely recommend Tama Dive to anyone who wants to explore the underwater world. Thank you, Remo, for an unforgettable day!

Our first dives as a family! It was a fantastic experience and we had a great instructor. Franko was very friendly and helpful. We will come back in August to visit Bat Islands, with TamaDive of course.

We had three days of incredible diving with TamaDive doing two days in the Catalinas and a day diving with bull sharks in Bat Islands. Our Dive Master Miguel was extremely knowledgeable about the area, conscientious and hospitable. All the rest of the team including Remo and captain, Pedro were fabulous. Honestly the diving at these sites took me a bit by surprise - the amount of life in the water including loads of fish (and mantas!!) made the diving unforgettable. Of course, nothing topped the thrill of diving with multiple bull sharks and I we felt so thankful we were in Miguel and Remo’s hands. If you’re thinking about diving in the area, definitely go with TamaDive.

I had an incredible experience at the Tamarindo Diving Shop in Costa Rica! Miguel, the instructor, was truly exceptional. He made the dive both safe and enjoyable. Moreover Miguel's hospitality was top-notch. He went out of his way to ensure everyone felt comfortable and welcome. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to dive in Tamarindo. Thank you, Miguel, for an amazing experience!

Hello-
You would have to contact the dive shop for the true answer.
FYI: Depending on what part of the world you are from, to be certified you have to go through a diving course from a recognizable diving company. Here in the states the two major companies to get certified with are PADI and SSI (they are both recognized worldwide). If you got a open water dive certification from either one of those companies, you should be ok.
