We changed our destination and went to the Cortez waterfall. We LOVED it. The guides (Michelle and German) were very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The views were amazing and wonderful. The steps were wet and slippery, probably typical during rainy season. The tubing people were very good at keeping us safe and two of us loved the ride. One of the three of us was susceptible to motion sickness and had trouble toward the end of the ride. The man at the sanctuary couldn’t have been a better host. He made sure we Gotto see many animals and got good pictures.

To start the driver was a very courteous and extremely safe driver. He made us feel very comfortable.
Then we met Allan, one of the best tour guides that we have had the pleasure to meet. He was not only kind, courteous, friendly, very informative, but you could tell he absolutely loves his occupation 🙂

Alex and Marco were amazing. Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic in sharing knowledge and fun facts. We had a rainy day but we got to see a number of animals. Thank you to everyone for taking care of our big group. Everyone we met was super friendly.

Best excursion of our whole Costa Rica trip! Genuinely an amazing time through seeing sloths, native specifies, beautiful hike to a most gorgeous waterfall, and tubing down a fun river. Our guide Michelle was the most incredible person and helped make the day even better. Highly recommend booking a day here for any ages! Would go back a million times.

Our family choose this trip (kids age 6 and 9) be use of the hiking ease and low intensity river tubing. We had a wonderful time. Our friendly tour guide Wilton was excellent. He spotted animals and reptiles in the rainforest that we would have never seen on our own, almost as if he had superpower vision. We saw several sloths, including a mother and her baby (the highlight of my daughter’s trip), poison dart frogs, eyelash viper snakes, tucans, and other birds and reptiles. Afterward we had a really terrific traditional Costa Rican meal nearby with a super fresh glass of fruit juice. The tubing was also super fun! The water was blue, the rapids put a smile on our faces and the scenery was out of a movie. Long, but great day!

What a great tour! Tubing was the best part, so fun and amazing river through the jungle. Waterfall was really great to see as well. Martin our driver and Nicole our tour guide were awesome and even went out of their way to pick us up from our house that was put of the way far from any town.

This was the first tour that i’ve done that is 10000% worth the time and money. We had so much fun and saw so many animals. The views were incredible. I would do it 100 times again. Nicole was so spectacular I would definitely recommend her for younger people.

Jason was super nice, fun, and flexible. Also let me sit in front of the van because I get car sick! Lots of animals ! Long trip driving from where we were staying but still worth it!

We had the best time on this excursion. We were afraid it would be a long day for our four kids, but it was perfect. Michelle and Alfredo were great and the staff at the tubing and animal sanctuary were amazing!

I noticed that there was not an area to choose children’s tickets. We have a 12-year-old an eight-year-old and 27--year-olds . They all swim. Are they free, are they not allowed, or what is the charge for them? Since we are a private group is there anyway we can go later than 7 AM?

There is a place to change at the tubing place (outdoor bathrooms). You keep your items in the vehicle and the driver stays with it. Lots of fun!

hi. I just want to make sure I understand this correctly. it's about a 2 hour drive there, then you hike through the 3 different jungles, or you drive through them. then float back?

About 2 hours, depending on where you start. There's a rest break in Liberia. Our first experience was at Bijagua Ranas, which is a nature preserve where you tour the grounds with a guide. Then we drove to Tenorio Volcano National Park where we hiked through the rainforest then down to the waterfall (about an hour total). Plenty of tourists there. After that we drove to the small restaurant for a casado lunch. Then we drove a little further to start tubing down the Rio Celeste. At the stopping point, our tubing guides drove us back to the starting point to be reunited with our expedition guides. Then we drove back to our condo - about 2.5-3 hours.

Hi - we’re two couples (4 ppl) that’s interested in this tour. I see you pick up from Hotel Riu Palace in Sardinal. Do you drop us off after the trip at our hotel as well? I see pick up but did not see drop off. Also is this a 2 hour excursion or 9 hours?
