AXR and our tour guide Pepe was the BEST PART of our Costa Rica tour. Pepe was genuine, personable, direct, transparent, and professional. He truly deserves a raise! We also did the horseback riding which was peaceful and healing. We appreciate AXR and one day hope to come back to Jaco for another tour!

ATV tour with Carlos as a guide was awesome. We took two quads as there were eight of us and some did not want to drive. The road was very scenic and we stopped several times to take photos. The waterfall was beautiful and the hike to see it was very well laid out and safe. Next stop was to jump from a small cliff. The water was very refreshing in both spots. The restaurant on the mountain was so good and probably one of my favorite meals while in Jaco. If you take this tour, make sure you ask for Carlos.

WHAT A FREAKNG BLAST! We opted for the 3-hr. tour the through the forest and to the waterfall. Our tour consisted of 3 people: the guide, my husband and myself. I was quite surprised that they did not try to put us into a larger group. As such, the guide was very attentive to our needs and desires. Stops were as frequent as we wanted; the waterfall was an added delight, and the terrain ride thru fields and stream beds (wet and dry) was fantastic! When visiting the area, you should definitely make this a "MUST DO!" Our guide was wonderful, easy going and a pleasure to be with.

This is by far one of the best tours I’ve ever done. The experience was beyond amazing and incredibly fun but what really made it the best was our tour guide Gabriel! He went above and beyond in showing us the warmth that the people in Costa Rica show to their guests. He catered to our individual wants by going out of his way to get a coconut that my 8 year old son had been looking for. He also pointed out tucans, macaws and a sloth that we wouldn’t have been experienced to spot (my request) and for my husband and 15 year old stepson he allowed them to be more extreme.
If you are in this are of Costa Rica do not hesitate for a second to book your tour with them and ask for Gabriel! I promise you will have the time of your life!!!!

Steven at the reception is a crook!!! He's apparently known for adding bogus "insurance related" costs for obscure fixes after your ride and skimming from the pot. I got charged for a scratch on the bottom of the ATV after an off roading adventure.....not sure how that works. When I said I wouldnt pay i was threatened with the law..Be careful when you go here. He's well known in the area for his schemes apparently.

Great experience! Newer equipment. Staff were great. Pack water, sunscreen and snacks for the ride. We had a 3 hour tour and stopped for a delicious meal on the hill top mountain before heading back. Try their homemade hot sauce!!!

HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!! DO NOT GO HERE!
This company does terrible business and is not looking out for your best interest. I will never use this company again! AXR will charge you THOUSANDS of dollars in damages (unjustifiably). There are so many other places that offer the same tour that will not try to scam you. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere, I wish we had!

So much fun!!! Amazing scenery and a total blast!! Great guides. We had Francisco and he is awesome!! We have done it multiple times and it never gets old, thrilling ever time. Must do in CR!!

During our stay in CR our family of 50 year old parents and five twentysomthings ranked this as our favorite of our activies! Fransico was a great tour guy on our three hour adventure. He judged our individual skills quickly and made the trip both exilerating and safe!

If you're planning to do an excursion while you're in the Jaco, CR area, then look no further. You will absolutely love this experience. They have good English speaking guides as well. This is a must do as it's is quite literally down the street from you, and they will all pick you up and drop you off! Ask for Avner to take you @ +506 8766 5252

We are group of 6 ppl with 2 adult drivers. We would like to book buggy (4 ppl) and twin ATV (2 ppl), on the SAME tour, at the SAME TIME. if we book online a buggy & ATV, can you arrange for us to ride together at same time?

Hi - is this something I can do as a family I have a 5 year old? Also I see the driver must be 18 - if he’s 17 with a valid drivers license can he drive as well?

5 year old could be a passenger on a 4-wheeler or you could take a Dune Buggy . My 15 year old son drove his own 4- wheeler so I think your 17 year old would be fine especially if he has some experience driving.

I dont think that options is open being that it takes more than 30 minutes to actually get views and sight seeing done. Takes about that long just going up the mountains .... get the 3 hour and make it worth it but 2 hour is just as fine. We got to eat at the top of mountain and jump in the water fall for the 3 hours ...

It depends on the age and skills of your children. You should probably book 2 doubles or an ATV that holds 4 people. The guides at this business are very helpful and will check to make sure everyone has the necessary skills before riding alone.
