Josue ( Ho-sway) kept us entertained and educated as he led us around the jaco food scene to enjoy several traditional Costa Rican dishes. His English is really good and he's a super nice guy. All in all, it was a really nice way to spend an evening and learn a little bit about Jaco and Costa Rica. Gracias mai!

Wish we had done this on our first day instead of at the end. We would’ve gone back to each restaurant for sure! [I would have added the mural tour with him too!) The cultural aspect of Costa Rican food was interesting. Made it taste better! Loved the chorreadas, caldosa,michelada and chilliguaro. I will be hunting those recipes to try at home! The Churchill was a sweet and tasty end!
Joshue knows his stuff and blends it will with a fun personality,food, and local color. Great walk around town with food stops! A “must do” for sure!

I had so much fun on this food tour. The host was amazing and personable! Learned so much about Costa Rican food and the history behind it. Recommend this tour for anyone going to Jaco. 10/10

Loved the tour! Our guide was very good and had so much information to share about the culture and history of the area. Food portions were generous and varied. I highly recommend this experience.

From the moment we met him, Josue’s energy, passion, and deep knowledge of the local cuisine made the experience feel like more than just a tour—it felt like a culinary adventure. Early in our Costa Rican travels we chose to join Josue’s traditional food tour in Jaco. His choice of food vendors provided a great variety of food and beverages which we will seek over the next few weeks. Josue is knowledgeable and proud to share his cultural knowledge. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it. Go hungry because there is a lot to eat!

Don’t hesitate book it now! Josue was a wealth of knowledge. We learned so much about the history of Jaco as well as Costa Rica. The food stops were all delicious and we tried things we never would have ion our own. The Picaritas Caldosas with halibut were a FAV. Come hungry because there is lots of food. Thanks again for a very fun tour. Rafael, Toni, Yolie and Virginia.
