Edgar was knowledgeable and pleasant. We learned about local flora, fauna, and some local history. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour, and elected to book another tour with the tour company, and requested Edgar as our guide.

A pesar de que no es el típico tour que se hace en la región de Manuel Antonio, nos decidimos a hacer este tour por los manglares y ¡fue todo un acierto! Vimos un montón de animales y tuvimos la suerte de que nuestro guía, Royvin, fue estupendo. Nos contó un montón de cosas sobre la flora y fauna de los manglares y lo disfrutamos muchísimo.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the Damas Mangroves. Daniel, our guide, was very friendly, enthusiastic and informative. We saw lots of wildlife including the cheeky white-faced capuchins. The tour ended with a typical Costa Rican breakfast in Quepos which was the perfect ending. We highly recommend this tour. Thank you Daniel.

Fun tour with a very informative guide in Armando. He knew a great deal about everything we were seeing and helped us spot many different kinds of Animals. He also helped me get some great pictures.

We did two tours with Jade, including the mangrove boat tour and the one around Manuel Antonio national park. They were both excellent! Would highly recommend. Daniel ran both of these tours and did a great job.

The guide was not so knowledgeable as I would expect.
As we were at the back of the boat and could hardly hear what he was saying because of the noise of the motor, the person stealing the boat could spot more animals than the tour guide.
In some parts of the tour, the driver was going too fast.
Some people in the boat were fortunate to see some animals, but others couldn’t.

Edgar was an amazing guide on our mangrove tour! He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and super fun. He sought to interact with us personally and get to know us as we enjoyed the tour. We had such a great time with him that we booked him as our tour guide for Manuel Antonio National Park. I highly recommend the mangrove tour and I suggest you request Edgar as your guide! You will see some really cool animals and have a lot of fun.

My family loved this tour! Monkeys on top of the boat were the highlight for my kids but as a whole, the mangrove were so beautiful and we saw so much wildlife! Our guide Daniel had us out early before other groups and was so knowledgeable from the moment he picked us up! Only tour I believe where our guide showed up with the driver to pick us up as well. Lunch in Quepos was also included which I somehow forgot! Highly recommend!

We are a family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 children, ages 8 and 10. With lunch included, it might be too long for the children. Could we arrange a private tour of 2 hrs and skip lunch. What would that cost. We can go Thursday or Friday. Thanks!

The lunch is quick for the most part….at a local Costa Rican restaurant that is small, but the tour operator will take your orders near the end of the boat tour (choices are chicken, beef, or fish with rice/beans, a small salad, and a pineapple drink with ice…the lunch was really good, and we ended up going back there a couple of days later for lunch again!). The food will be brought out pretty quickly once you get there since it was called in by the boat tour operator so they have it almost ready…I think at your kids’ ages, they would do fine since the boat tour is fun looking for all the monkeys, sloths, birds, lizards and since the boat is covered at the top, it wasn’t too hot at all with light breezes along the way. Ask if they can sit at the front of the boat, and I bet they will love that! Have fun!!

It depends on the high tide. We left at 8am. It's a good tour for kids too!
