We went for zip line and horseback riding. The tours were all very organized and nice and we all had fun. The tour guides were nice and explained everything pretty well. The lunch was great. There were many options and you can refill.
Everything was good except for two things:
1. For the horseback riding, we did not get to the waterfall and could not swim. We were prepared and wore swimsuits but we were led to a very small shallow water area. The water was just deep enough to cover the small rocks on the ground. We did not get wet at all.
My kid actually asked the guide if this is waterfall (I did not know she asked until we got back). He laughed and said no. But there was no further explanation.
At the beginning of the HBR, the guide did say that we are at the end of the rainy season, but it rained a lot recently (everyday had good rain when we were here), so the water will have a lot sand and muddy.
So I don’t understand why we did not get to the waterfall and swim in the natural pool. It isn’t like the dry season where there isn’t as much water.
When we got back to the car to go back to San Jose, the driver heard we did HBR and even asked my kids how was the waterfall and the swim. They said we didn’t go. He was like oh… So we were disappointed.
2. We bought the photo package. It is $65 for the entire package. They showed us some of the pictures when we were in the store and told us there are 70 pictures for each activity. But when I got back and looked, each activity has 70 pictures but there was only 35 different pictures. For each picture, THERE ARE TWO EXACTLY THE SAME ONES! When I looked into the details, I found that the only difference for the same two pictures was the name of the photo. I guess maybe they took two pictures for each position. However, it made us feel tricked because for each activity they put a set of pictures organized chronologically first, then the same ones with same time sequence next. They did not put the same two pictures together even though the file names of the two pictures are next to each other.
Even if they told us there are 35 photos for each activity it doesn’t sound too bad. But we are a group of four, so each person only got about 6-7 photos plus 2 group photos for each activity. And there are very similar ones in the 6-7 pictures of the individual pictures. So each person really just gets 2-3 different pictures.
If they just honestly told us how many pictures we really got, we would probably still buy the photo package, but we would not feel like be scammed later.
So lesson is if you are going to buy the photo package, make sure to watch out for the details before buy them. Don’t get mislead by how many photos you will get. You may just have half of what they claimed.

Dear visitor;
We apologize for the waterfalls situation, as you are aware we are hit by continues cold fronts during all the month of November, and access to some of the waterfalls wore actually not safe, the company selling the tour should have warned you about this before booking the tour, and we are sorry the guide did not give you a better explanation about the safety mesures we wore taking in not visiting dangerous waterfalls because of the amount of water.
About the photos, We are very sorry you feel this way, however we showed you all the photos before purchase, there was no extra photos so it might have bin a misunderstanding since we sent you the photos you saw and paid for, please let us know if we can help with anything else.

What an incredible adventure! The San Jose tour combining ziplining, horseback riding, ATVs, surfing, and biking was action-packed and so much fun. Each activity was well-organized, and the guides were fantastic. Highly recommend for thrill-seekers!

My family did horseback riding, zip lining and the ATV’. The guides were all awesome. The lunch was very good and the place itself was beautiful. We would highly recommend this.

Great zipline, lunch, ATV ride and souvenir shopping - all of it was great!! We were picked up on time, given clear instructions and had an exciting time - excellent music selection by Larry.

First off, Alonso was our tour guide and he was great. Super friendly, a great driver, and he showed us some less known spots! The tour included two activities and we did the chocolate tour and horseback riding. Both tour guides for that (Erick and Christopher) were super professional and helpful. Definitely recommend this tour for a fun activity filled day!

This was an amazing experience! My husband and I have zip lined and driven ATV’s in other countries but none compared to the length of the courses here in Costa Rica! The views of the rainforest were spectacular. Swimming in the waterfalls was divine. The buffet lunch was delicious. We got our moneys worth and then some!

This tour was awesome. The guides were supportive, encouraging and knowledgeable for my first time zip lining. The horseback riding was relaxing on well trained horses. The visit to the falls and plunging into the pool was so refreshing! My husband totally enjoyed his private atv tour with his guide.

I have two questions: 1. I noticed the booking/checkout system will only let me purchase 9 adult tickets at a time. If I have a group of 22 adults, do I just have to make multiple purchases (2 purchases of 9, one purchase of 4)? Also, If I book using this method, will our groups be able to participate at the activities at the same time? Or will we be separated? 2. Out of the 5 or 6 different events listed in this Full-Day activity, is there a discount offered if someone only wants to do 4 of the activities (ex. They want to do everything except zip-lining)?
