We truly enjoyed this trip and our guide and driver, Lesly and Jesus, were a great fit. We enjoyed the local food, lots of beautiful views on our drives and the parks were just spectacular! I got a sweet surprise for my b-day and it made my day, Lesly and Jesus went above and beyond to make it enjoyable (they make a great team!) CR is truly beautiful!

Extremely poor communication by the manager Yojhan and the office staff.
When we originally booked the tour, the operator confirmed they could drop us off to the airport for our flight at 4pm at the end of the tour. When we messaged the AyE office and Yojhan, they said this was not in fact the case. When we asked how to go about this we were left on read despite the numerous messages sent and phone calls made. Had it not been for the fact we were on another AyE tour that day, we would have had no communication at all. Our tour guide on the day tour, got in contact with Yojhan who still did not give any clear directions as to what was happening with our tour.
In the end, they ended up cancelling our tour without informing us, leaving us with no accommodation or anything for the next 4 days.
Overall, an extremely poor experience with this tour company therefore do not recommend to anyone.

Dear traveler, perhaps you will read this comment, everyone leaves the negatives but not the good ones, so I am going to give you guidelines of what this client did and you should keep in mind.
1) The tour starts on day 1 and ends on day 4 in the place you want to be safe and secure.
2) We do not leave people in the middle of nowhere, so that they try to take a taxi, without knowing the destination and who will take them.
3) Calling after 8 at night is impolite unless it is an emergency, asking for my number and calling me late at night because I am the manager is rude, when I had indicated reservations they would not leave to bring to the tour for the series of irrational things that they were asking to the detriment of the other tour participants.
4) AyE Tours Travel Costa Rica adheres to good responsible tourism practices and we try to ensure that all travelers enjoy their vacations, so we do not accept bribes or threats in exchange for favoring a few.
5) Dear traveler, if you have a limited itinerary, we recommend you contact us directly for a private tour, we do not charge extra for that.
6) Dear traveler, a comment like this is easier to read than 10 good ones, but if you plan to party, change tours at will, harming others, I recommend looking for another company, our tours are naturalist, you will learn history, we will look for animals in the forest, we will enjoy the sun, the rain maybe there will be time to drink a delicious imperial (beer) but this is not a party tour.

Reliable company, we took 4 days trip and added one more day " Rincon de la Vieja ", we will come back next year to visit more places, thanks Yojhan and your team for your help.

Pros: you get to see 4 gorgeous parts of Costa Rica
Con: you spend 4-5 hours a day traveling by car
I travelled with my two daughters ages 18 and 22. I would recommend this trip to anyone with limited time in Costa Rica. We really enjoyed all the sites, the wildlife, the food and our tour guide. Our tour guide asked what we wanted to do and catered to our needs.

For all travelers in important take on mind the time driving from San José without stops need aprox 3.5 hours in one day 7 or more hours this trip reduce the time driving and evit return to San José in all days and you can make other activities than no is possible make during the aone day trips or just get up later...
