Beautiful excursion to the island of Tahaa, a real immersion (also in fact) in Polynesian culture. Thanks in particular to our Guide and pilot Tere and his friendly colleagues.

Superb day with our Momo Guide and his sidekick Tere.
Beautiful visits: vanilla plantation, rum factory that received the gold medal at the agriculture fair and a pearl farm!
Lunch on the motu is exceptional, feet in the water with a musical accompaniment of a very high quality!
The good humor of Momo and Tere participate very much in the success of this day and the discovery of Tahaa!
To do without hesitation!

It will remain a very good memory, Great team especially Tere, we enjoyed well, well laughed, good mood despite the rain, quality lunch, music. The coral garden was a bit fast for my taste but my wife and daughter were happy. I recommend.

We had an amazing time! We booked two tours: a half-day tour to visit Raiatea (including visiting a marae, cruising down the river and snorkeling) and a full-day tour to explore Tahaa (including visits to a vanilla plantation, rum factory, and a pearl farm, snorkeling and lunch on a private motu with your feet in the water surrounded by fish and sharks). Two times we had an amazing tour gide (shout-out to Ari and Tere) who were very friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and overall fun. Even a little bit of rain could not spoil these amazing days :) A must-do when visiting Raiatea!!

Thankyou for a truly memorable day. We have lived in the society islands for the past 18 months and watched the ARE tours leaving so often but finally, last week it was our turn .... and I can honestly say the day surpassed all expectation. All the guides were exceptional but a special shoutout to Tere who drove our boat. He was amazing. I will not spoil the delights of the day for others but suffice to say it was pretty special- the impromptu Haka on the motu after lunch from Aotearoa NZ family reciprocated by a polynesian version courtesy of Tere and our other two guides was completely amazing. V emotional. Thankyou so much for a memorable day

What an amazing experience, let me start saving that our guide REVA, is one of the best person I've ever met, if he’s not one of the owners of the company, he should be a partner, because he loves what he do.
We spend the whole day having different interactions with nature and culture, the lunch was very good, the coconut show was very well performed.
Please don’t hesitate to book this tour if you’re visiting.

Why aren't there any answers to the above questions? If my cruise ship arrives at 8 AM, do I have time to do this tour? What time you would pick me up, where would you pick me up, and what time would I be returned to my cruise ship? Thank you.

It is difficult to answer a question when it comes to how long a tour will last when there are a few variables that are unknown. I took the ARE tour just a few weeks ago. They picked me up at 9:10 AM and did not return to TAHA’A until about 4:30 PM. The tour was relaxed and unhurried and included a long leisurely lunch. I was able to work directly with ARE in making my own arrangements, which would be best in your situation as well. The tour originated in Raiatea but I made a special arrangement in which they picked me up at Le TaHa’a and then I returned to my resort with a car ride arranged by ARE tours and a short boat ride to Le TaHa’a. I would contact them directly for specifics on schedule, timing, and drop off and pick up points.

Bonjour, nous étions en septembre dernier à Raiatea et c'est par notre hôtel (Raiatea Lodge) que nous avions réservé l'excursion avec ARE TOURS. ils sont venus nous chercher directement à l'hôtel en van (l'hôtel n'a plus de ponton pour récupérer les genres en bateau...) pour nous déposer au quai. Envoyez un mail directement à ARE TOURS pour qu'ils vous confirment s'ils viennent vous chercher directement (cela dépend d'où vous logez).
En tous cas, ce fut une excursion exceptionnelle avec eux. Visite passionnante du marae Taputapuatea, le plus grand site religieux de tout le triangle polynésien, puis remontée de la seule rivière navigable de Polynésie, visite libre du jardin botanique, puis, non prévu au programme, balade en bateau avec un banc de dauphins des joueurs. Guide charmant et intéressant. Bon séjour

Nous serons à Raiatea le 4 mars de 8h à 18h. Je comprends que si nous réservons votre excursion, vous pouvez nous prendre au quai où arrive notre bateau de croisière, le Regatta dd’Oceania Cruises? Est que le retour est garantie pour que nous ne manquions pas le départ? Quelle est l’heure de départ de l’excursion autour du lagon d’une durée d’environ 7h.?
