This place is sterile and unwelcoming and terrible, I spoke with them for weeks before because I live in Illinois, I told them I was 5'3 and 228lbs, they basically said no problem come on in, I went there as scheduled only to be ignored for 45 minutes, then waited around for 4 hours just to have the instructors tell me no, I was a liability for safety. I was told to come on in to try on the harness and go from there, but I wasn't even allowed to do that, they just looked at me and said nope! I understand that this is their call to make, but to make me wait around like that and not even let me try on the harness! I was judged on my size, which I disclosed to them previously several times, I was concerned about it myself, I just lost 90lbs and I wanted to do this!! So,,,,, I went to Skydive Phoenix with no problem, they welcomed me and never made me feel in-adequate, the whole vibe here is terrible, but Skydive Phoenix welcomed me with open arms!! If you want a good experience, go anywhere else! The vibes at Skydive Phoenix cannot ever be compared to this sterile environment.

The personnel were friendly, gave lots of informative preparation , the staff were knowledgeable and very safety conscious.

Amazing! I took my daughter skydiving for her 21st birthday and we're both ready to go again! David and Andrew were very informative, friendly and FUN! It was a very windy day so all other jumps after ours were cancelled but it's nice to know that safety is first and foremost with them. I would recommend this adventure with Phoenix Skydiving Center to everyone brave enough to take the jump.

I discovered a whole new world of fun photography while visiting the Phoenix Area Skydiving facility in early January. A really great place to go for camera buffs. No charge just to watch and photograph. Take both telephoto and wider angle lenses. Watching the chute packing, skydivers preparing and being coached before boarding the airplane, and of course images of skydivers descending high in the sky and finally executing landing manuevers close to the viewing area will keep your camera clicking. If I lived in the Phoenix area I would visit this site often. Charlie, Argyle, TX

The people were amazing, they made me feel right at home and safe. I loved it and would go back in a heartbeat!! I jumped with Lary, and he was awesome! Randy also gave us a super good deals on photos and video. I highly recommend Phoenix Area Skydiving.

We purchased a gift certificate through Phoenix Area Skydiving as a 2014 Christmas present for our college age daughter. Because she lives most of the year away at college, we had a reservation booked for her over her Christmas break. Unfortunately, Phoenix Area Skydiving cancelled her reservation and since she was going back to school we couldn't try to book again until summer. When we tried to book summer of 2015, we were told there was nothing available so we planned way in advance and booked for Thanksgiving break 2015. Again, Phoenix Area Skydiving cancelled her reservation last minute and rebooked her for the next day. The following day, her reservation was again cancelled. At this point we were unable to rebook because our daughter was heading back out of state to college and we were going to be moving out of state. Consequently, we would no longer be living in the area and had no way to reschedule our daughter so she could redeem her gift certificate. At this point, we asked for a refund. The employee on the phone told us they could not help us but told us we could try emailing their boss, which we did. Unfortunately, we received no response from our email. At this point, it looks like we are out our money and our daughter has no skydiving experience to show for it. We were very disappointed in the customer service we received.

My husband bought this for me for our first wedding anniversary! I'd always wanted to do it, but I never had the courage to actually do it! Anyway, I had the best experience! Paul was my instructor and though he was a bit quiet, he was awesome! I was actually surprised at the short amount of time spent on training for the tandem jump. I expected the training to be much longer, but it was all of 10 minutes. I love it and I actually broke up and started singing, Ain't No Mountain High Enough" once our parachute deployed! (I'm a huge Diana Ross fan!) Needless to say, I'm so glad did it because I can now check this off my bucket list!

I gave my daughter Chloe a skydiving package for her 18th birthday - and it was probably one of the best presents I could give her!
We went this morning - the staff were friendly and professional from the moment we walked in the door. I watched as they put on her harness and did the safety check - it was obvious that they were careful to ensure that she would be safe (as a mom, this is important!).
She said the jump was fantastic and the staff member who did the tandem with her was terrific. She did flips, spins, and was able to help guide the parachute down. The video and pictures are definitely worth the extra cost, and she was given a t-shirt and a "bucket list" certificate (they print out the certificate using the exact name of your reservation, so make sure that you spell it right, etc.).
I was initially not happy with the 8 am start time, but we were able to avoid the Phx rush hour traffic both coming and going, so pick 8 am if you can.
Thanks for a great skydiving experience! She can't wait to go again.

My 18 year old son chose skydiving as his adventure of choice on our recent family vacation. After reading many positive reviews and watching their online videos, we chose Phoenix Area Skydiving. It was easy to book online. Everything ran right on time. My son completed the paperwork and was harnessed up. He really liked his tandem partner, Sam. He was engaging and fun. The extra $ for the video was well worth it. My son was able to easily share his jump with his friends.
