We had an amazing trip with Angelo, we were lucky to see some hammerheads on the way in and everything was well explained.
Close to the seal colony the crew located a baby seal which was drowning as it could not properly swim yet and it likely fell into the water. They had radio contact with the guys on shore and they recommended to grab it and return it onto the rocks so the mother could locate the baby and so they did!
The swim was great and our time in the water was certainly sufficient.
I would certainly recommend this trip!

Fantastic trip with Stuart as our guide. He was fun and informative. We were able to get very close to the seals but they didn't really want to play.. but you can't help that. Loved the experience would try it again if we ever have the chance

When travelling the garden route this is a must do! The experience to swim with seals is truly unique! These animals are so welcoming and curious. I don’t think any other animal encounter will ever be this up close and playfull.
Offshore adventures does not interfere with the habitat of the animals. No touchting is allowed an nothing is forced upon the animals. Offshore adventures really respects the animals and ocean.
Our guides Claude & Romeo were awesome. They went the extra mile in getting some nice pictures along with showing us all the fun behaviorals of the seals.
10/10 you just don’t want to miss out on this experience.

Please be aware of the risks, one of the seals severely attacked my girlfriend and a friend of us and she almost had to undergo surgery. While everything seemed fine at the beginning, we were told by Claude that seals may playfully bite you but that if you keep still we would be fine.
We just arrived at Robberg peninsula where we jumpednin the water. After 5 minutes of floating my girlfriend started screaming for help and yelling that the seal would not let go. I took a look through the snorkling goggles and saw the massive teeth of the seal stuck in my girlfriends ankle. It almost tore here ACL...
The skipper Red took her onto the boat to observe the wounds when a second person of our group (a friend of us) got atttacked. He got bitten severy on his shin. We then all realized the seriousness of the situation, which was horrifying...
Our friend got stitched up at the hospital (4 deep biting wounds were stitched). My girlfriend had to be driven to a specalist surgean in Knysna where she might have to get surgery for her ACL. Luckily the ACL seemed fine, but she still can't walk on her right foot (the attack happened 10 days ago).
I hope offhshore adventures does not operate the swimming with seals tour anymore. It too is dangerous!! Worst of all was that after our traumatic experience offshore adventures still wanted to know where we left their wetsuits...

My family and I with two young teens had a fabulous morning with Claude and the seals. After our onshore safety briefing, we climbed into the boat and set off to the peninsula to find the seals. Everything about the boat ride was exhilarating and fun. Once at the seals, we hopped in and had the best 20 mins of fun with the little guys. They are very inquisitive and love to get close to you, nipping your fins and swimming through your legs. It's lovely to dive down slightly as they follow you. Claude had our safety in mind the whole time and spread himself between the 2 families onniur boat well. My kids loved it, and as relatively confident swimmers, they needed no aides. However, they were available if needed. I had two reservations beforehand. 1) Sharks - needn't have worried. The whole whoke bay are totally on that, and they have lots of things in place to warn water-users if they are spotted. 2) Being bitten by a seal - Claude says they are like puppies, if you offer them a digit, they'll probably have a playful nip, but he showed us how to protect our fingers when swimming and despite my children's flailing arms, they didn't even get close to nipping us. I guess they learn that plastic fins are good to go; human flesh, not so much. These concerns put to sleep we had a blast. The time went super quick, and we hopped back on the boat for the famous beach landing. It's really fast and fun. You really do have to hold on. We'd all do it again in a heartbeat. Including my husband who watched from the boat, as he is, in his own words, "a coward." He said it looked fun and would rather have been in the water than the boat. I'm not sure I'd take younger kids, esp if they aren't confident swimmers. It is open sea after all, but it's an absolute must for any family holiday. Book it, whatever the season. Oh and as a bonus you get to download any pictures and videos your guide takes on his Go-Pro, for free! You won't regret it!

Was absolutely incredible. The team were informative and entertaining. The whole experience was surreal, I’m not the strongest swimmer but this wasn’t a problem. Couldn’t recommend this more to people

Wow - a once in a lifetime experience for the whole family and brilliantly organised. Absolutely seamless and such a warm welcome from the team. Angelo was our guide and he was so lovely and took great care of us. Red gave us a thrilling experience on the boat and for those remaining as viewers were treated to loads of knowledge and an interaction with the seals from the side of the boat. We had loads of time in the water with the seals and were treated to complimentary footage which was a real bonus. Thank you! Highly recommend to anyone :)

Es war eine tolle Erfahrung, den Tieren so nah zu sein. Die Robben waren neugierig und verspielt. Es ist körperlich aber auch ein bisschen anstrengend.
