Trois sur cinq…. Franchement très très bonne journée. Roger, le guide, a été extra! Les paysages sont superbes, le plateau du Lesotho unique, hors du temps et magique… mais l’impression est mitigée quant aux visites avec des locaux. La pauvreté est prégnante. J’ai l’impression que le business ne profite pas à tous. Bref. A refaire mais plus qu’une journée. Avec un peu plus de contrôle sur les arrêts dans les villages.

Preis überteuert. Fahrzeug zu klein. Wie in Sardinenbüchse. Fahrstil des Fahrers unangemessen. Auch, wenn er schon lange so fährt. SICHERHEIT der Gäste muss oberste Priorität haben.

Unser Guide hat sich gut ausgekannt und auf der Tour hoch zum Sani-Pass auf interessante Details und Stellen hingewiesen oder angehalten. Tolle Aussichten, abenteuerliche Strasse - das ist ja u.a. der Reiz. Auch wenn man nur einen Steinwurf weit nach Lesotho hineinkommt, so vermittelt es doch einen kleinen Eindruck wie die Menschen in Lesotho leben.
Wir hatten das Glück das Projekt eines Pfarrers besuchen zu können, der dort den Hirtenjungen eine Ausbildung ermöglicht. Nur über Spenden finanziert - beeindruckend. Hoffentlich gibt es viele Touristen, die die Tour machen und eine Spende hinterlassen !!

We had tried the Sani pass the year before and it was a tricky drive even with a decent vehicle and I found that the Diff-Lock needed to come down the steep declines caused a fair bit of wear and tear on my rear tires so I figured I would use the tour company for the next trip up.
Sani Pass has been sanitized over the last year or so and is much kinder on vehicles and in much better condition but its still quite a challenging drive up and when you're the driver you miss the majestic view on the way. having a professional driver and letting their car take the knocks seemed a much better option and I got to see so much more. an amazing bonus was an arranged stop at one of the Lesotho homesteads where we were welcomed into local lady's home to experience Lesotho culture and then we got to sample the most amazing warm Pot-Bread. I bought another loaf to have back at the hotel that evening. The Tour is reasonably priced considering the amazing experience you enjoy and the fact that you can see so much more and there is no wear and tear on your own car to consider.

Had been on our list for some time and were very excited about the trip. Our driver Frank was great - really helpful and full of interesting facts - we felt safe at all times in his capable hands - we were not disappointed and would recommend this trip.

Our driver, Frank Mtshali, was an excellent tour guide and driver! He navigated the hairpin turns and the washed out road with skill! The scenery was beautiful, and the drive is an experience of a lifetime!
