I really enjoyed the Hippo Boat Cruise. Mdu was an excellent, articulate and well educated tour guide. I really enjoyed the Hippos and the current and historical information of the Estuary was interesting.

We were in the safe and proficient hands of Xolani as our tour guide. What a brilliant fellow. His understanding of nature and how the animals in isimangaliso interact with their environment granted us an opportunity to see an elephant that had just ran down a tree. We even spotted a chameleon from a distance all thanks to his brilliant eye. Overall the tour was amazing, but I would suggest going on the sunset drive as that'll increase your chances of seeing larger predators.

Our day was filled with sights of water buffaloes, kudu, waterbuck, rhino, hippos and an elephant through rainy weather. The significance of this was a 4 x 4 drive through the Grassland loop. Our tour guide Sandile was spectacular and we enjoyed the sightseeing and variety of birds such as eagles, herons and the African cuckoo.
We were tempted to cancel the trip due to bad weather, however it ended up being the best game experience we have been to in this part of the country.

We hebben een prachtige game drive gehad en onderweg veel moois gezien! De gids weet veel te vertellen over de dieren en de omgeving wat het extra interessant maakt. Breakfast in the bush was prima verzorgd. Een aanrader!

Wow what can I say, heritage tours had exceeded our expectations,we has a family of 20 had amazing experience,we will definitely be coming back we did the eastern shores sunrise gamedrive It was a phenomenal experience really.Our Rangers was just too good especially Hynie he was on point with every single detail of the park even if it was the tiniest insect with his sources and personality I would definitely recommend him has the best ranger.ill surely be back but the next time I'd like explore the western shores.Thank you to heritage tours ♥️

We had such an amazing experience on our trip up the estuary. Our guide had incredible knowledge for the area and was happy to answer all of our questions, helping my family and I learn more about the Isimangaliso wetland park.

An excellent trip with John - fantastic knowlege and insight into the area. What a pleasure to see a magnificent place like isiMangaliso through the eyes of someone so knowledgeable and passionate. Dealing with the office was also a seamless pleasure.

We were collected and dropped off from our accommodation in St Lucia by our game ranger John who imparted a wealth of knowledge. There were plenty of cool drinks on offer all day and we stopped of for morning refreshments of tea, coffee muffins and rusks at a viewing sight overlooking the iSimangaliso wetlands . The 4x4 Game Viewing and forest walk were amazing and after visit to Cape Vidal and a swim in the sea we set off for a picnic lunch of roast chicken salads and wine, truly a feast. Splendid day out, and worth every penny.

We were picked up at our hotel early in the morning and drove into the iSimangaliso natural park in order to see the nature wake up in the morning. The guide Sandile was very helpful and we saw lats of animals; Buffalos, Zebras, Antilopes, Dungbeetles just to name a few. It was a great experience and we all had a "great time"!

We got fetched on time in the Morning and drove to the Park.
The guide‘s Name was Sandile, he was very friendly, informed, qualified and always made sure that we had a Good time.
At one Point during the Tour we were in the Middle of an elephant Family gathering, which was Great.
Heritage Tours also offer breakfast and a Braai in the park and the braai was awesome and well done by our Guide.
We can recommand Heritage tours and our Guide for everyone.
