Edvard was a pleasure to spend the day with! His knowledge of South African history was superior and his professionalism at each of the estates was awesome. He took us to one estate with cheaper wine and one fancy estate, and we loved the experiences at both. Thanks Edvard!

The farms were breathtaking especially Marriane and the drive through Stellenbosch.
our tour guide picked us really late from the hotel and that changed the mood for the tour. i feel it was a bit rushed because of time.

My favorite part was honestly the tour guide. Mukhtar was absolutely amazing. Very professional. Polite. And very informative. We learned more about Cape Town than ever before. Definitely will come back again

It was cancelled several days ahead. Be careful of Viator, they take your money early and refuse to refund it. I believe them to be incompetent in the extreme or worse.

Unser Guide hat uns pünktlich am Hotel abgeholt und uns auf der Fahrt in die Weinberge alles erklärt was wir wissen wollten.
Stellenbosch und Franschhoek haben uns super gefallen, auch wenn man hätte länger bleiben können/wollen (Wahrscheinlich ist die Ganztagestour noch entspannter und vielseitiger).
Die Weinverkostungen waren ganz lekker wie man hier sagt und großzügig eingeschenkt ( nicht gewohnt von zuhause).
Insgesamt eine empfehlenswerte Tour, wenn man nicht allzuviel Zeit hat, anderenfalls glaube ich, dass man mit der ganztägigen noch besser bedient wird, da man auch nach Paarl fährt.

Der Guide Manfred sprach sehr viel englisch, übersetzte aber nur einen Teil in deutsch (3 englische und 8 deutsche Passagiere). Er gab wenig Informationen in Stellenbosch, so das wir ziellos umherirrten und hinterher erfuhren, wo wir hätten hingehen können. Trotz Nachfrage gab es kaum einen Fotostopp in den Winelands. Er war nett, aber jede Taxifahrt wäre genauso gewesen.

Na een prima snelle rit bij zevenwacht een prima proeverij met kaasplanken vervolgens ff naar Stellenbosch daarna nog een proeverij met gedroogd vlees plankje erbij. Met een aparte auto terug naar Kaapstad. Voor iemand met beperkte tijd een prima trip.

Our African eagle tour got off to a poor start when the driver was 25 minutes late picking us up.
The attached photo explains what is contained in a half day wine tour, I have included both photos of the leaflet and website we looked at prior to booking (screen shot of website 30/9/19).
The stellenbosch orientation was a drive though with no opportunity to get out and take photos There was no Dorp street, De braak or "free walk about historic town".
The wine tasting was fine but not quite the experience we had expected. Employees from the estates would pour a wine explaining the name and age but there was no guidance as to how to taste the wine, smelling etc. Luckily another couple had been wine tasting before so they showed us what you should do but it did not feel much different from drinking wine in a restaurant as you were just left to get on with the tasting.
The biggest dissapointment for us was that we went to paarl rather than the tram ride with wine tasting. As this was not how it was advertised on the leaflet or on the website it left us feeling disappointed and unsatisfied with the tour.
