We thoroughly enjoyed this full day private tour with 3 couples. Ian was an excellent and knowledgeable tour guide and gave us an awesome tour of the Cape Town peninsula. We all loved the penguin colony and the Cape of Good Hope and lighthouse. Ian personalized the tour for what we wanted to see and had an excellent agenda with a stop at a historic bakery for coffee and croissants as well as a stop for a delicious lunch. I can’t say enough good things and highly recommend this fun, personalized, and private full day tour!

Ian was timely, provided great information about the Cape and our focal points, and was attentive to our needs. The itinerary Ian put together covering the Cape of Good Hope, Boulders Beach, the drive along Hout Bay and the coast along with Chapman’s Peak, and the relaxed afternoon wine tasting in the quiet countryside at Buitenverwachting Wine Farm is a nice, full day. Ian also assisted with dining recommendations and reservations. 5* for sure.

My family and I had a fabulous private tour with Ian! He picked us up at our hotel and we spent the day seeing the incredible sights at the Cape of Good Hope, Cape Point, an Ostrich Farm, and the highlight of our trip- Boulders Beach Penguin Colony! Ian is an absolute pro! He was wonderful in helping to plan the itinerary and answering all of my questions and emails right away. He designed the perfect itinerary to make sure we saw as much as we could and had wonderful recommendations for food, photo stops and little extras along the way! He was always happy to take pictures for us. He even went out of his way to deliver the souvenir our 3 year old left in the van to our hotel the next day! If you are in Capetown- I cannot recommend Ian highly enough!!! Thank you so much for a truly memorable tour!!!

We had a marvellous 10 hour cruise with Ian!
While we were planning our post-cruise 2-day stay in CapeTown, he took the time to understand our needs (2 older couples with some physical limitations) and was available to answer our questions and to propose different options to make the most of our too short stay in Cape Town.
Being himself a well travelled person, he knew how to make everything easy for us: punctual, knowledgeable, very pleasant person, he shared generously his life experience in Cape Town and managed everything smoothly… no waste of time, no rush, just Athena perfect planning for us!
Ian is a very professional and generous guide. We felt that he wanted us to be 100% satisfied with our tour.

P.S. And his van was comfortable and clean!

Fabulous tour conducted by Ian - he's so knowledgeable and passionate about his business. Don't bother using any other Cape Town Tour company as this guy is the best! He collected is from our apartment and we went on to see Cape Point, Boulders Beach (the penguin colony) and finished off with a wine tasting session + a load of other sightseeing stuff. Was always happy to do impromptu stops for additional photos & willingly took group photo shots of our party. Followed up by posting loads of photos of our brilliant day on Facebook & provided us with lots of recommendations of where to eat, drink and additional places to visit. Ian conjured up a sensational day for us. Thanks so much.

Wow! Words can't describe the last two days. Amazing tour of Cape Town and Cape of Hope. And probably the best wine tasting tour of all time in Stellenbosch. The best part was that we have a new lifelong friend. Thank you, Ian!

We were privileged to have a private tour with Ian.
As soon as he arrived at our hotel we could tell immediately that Ian was a perfectionist. Ian’s mini bus was spotless, he was punctual and very friendly. We could tell straight away that we were going to have a great day. Ian is a lovely guy, very knowledgeable and informative and always had our best interests at heart.
Ian took us to Buffelsfontein the game reserve, where we had a great experience. The people there were also very friendly. We were lucky enough to see all the animals, get up close to them and be able to take some great photos.
Ian then took us onto the Olive farm where we did some olive tasting which was very interesting. After that we went to a lovely place for lunch where we also did some wine tasting. It was really great.
We would thoroughly recommend Ian and would have no hesitation in using him again on our next trip to Cape Town.

Ian was such a wonderful, insightful guide! We were a group of 5 adults and 2 kids (10 and 8). He brought us to Table Mountain to see the stunning views, Boulders Beach to see the cute South African penguins, Kalk Bay to see the beautiful colorful fishing boats, seals and local catch - we had a healthy insanely delicious lunch at Whole Earth Cafe, he drove us through the Bo-Kapp district etc. Ian was a wealth of info and a wonderful person to spend the afternoon with! We would love to go back to South Africa and do one of his other tours!

Ian was a fabulous tour guide. He took us to great scenic places around Cape Town while taking into consideration the weather, driving time, and, most importantly, time for us to enjoy the sights.
He was very knowledgeable and courteous, providing us with background and history of the places we were enjoying. Ian also treated us to coffee, Rooibos tea, and cookies at our stop at Cape of Good Hope. For lunch, he took us to a very cozy and healthy place (Whole Earth Cafe) which had delicious food.
Our tour was a thoroughly enjoyable experience! Thanks Ian!

My husband and I first met Ian for a Cape Peninsula tour in 2017. Fast forward to 2022, we did a 4-day private tour this time, Ian and African Moon Adventures did not disappoint! We had such a wonderful time in and around Cape Town from wine tastings, Babylonstoren tour, Stony Point African Penguins and so much more. Please do not hesitate to book with African Moon Adventures!! I'd give it a 10-star anytime!

I am a travel agent who will be cruising on the NCL Jade with some clients. We would like a customized tour departing from our cruise ship on Jan 26, 2023, at approx. 10am and arriving at the airport at approx. 5pm for 4 people. We would like a Cape Peninsula tour and other highlight in that area. Are you available for a tour that day? If so, what would be the cost for a total of 4 people? Can I assume that you would have room for our luggage since we will be going directly from the cruise ship to the airport?
