We visited the Jewish Museum and the Holocaust Centre (admission to that is free) on the same day; they are both on the same complex.
We had booked 'Skip the Line' tickets for the Jewish Museum, but that probably isn't necessary as it wasn't busy.
However, it's essential that you take Photo ID with you as you have to show this when you pass through security to get entry to any building on the complex -which includes the Garden Synagogue.
The Museum was very interesting and the displays in the Holocaust Centre were among the best we've ever seen and we have been to quite a few. Allow plenty of time to see both. There is a nice café there .

This facility explains the history of the Jews in South Africa, and also a Holocaust Museum. In addition, there’s a synagogue that is vibrant and active!
