We had the most wonderful trip to the swatberg pass with Stephen. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable about the area but also knew so much about birds, flowers and the history of the place. Thank you Stephen for a wonderful day out.

Jan Bester from True South Travel provided my husband and I with a wonderful private half day tour on Swartberg Pass. Jan was so knowledgeable about the fauna, flora and the beautiful birds. We will remember the breathtaking scenery for some time and would recommend this tour for anyone visiting the area.

On the 27th of April we went on this unbelievable tour over the Swartberg Mountains. Our guide picked us up on time. This was an exciting experience especially for me, because it was my first time! Our guide gave great insight about the region and the history about the Swartberg Mountains. We saw all sorts of flowers, beautiful birds and even a small stream of water coming out of the mountains. This was really amazing! The view on the mountains were impeccable! We went to a little town called Prince Albert where we had a delicious lunch! I would definitely recommend this tour!

We were fortunate to explore the Swartberg Pass with our extremely competent guide, Jeremy. We enjoyed a scenic walk on the Swartberg Pass overlooking the Little and Great Karoo. Jeremy introduced us to the unique finebush and we learned a lot about the medicinal uses of these plants. We enjoyed a lovely lunch and wine tasting at Karuse Wines. What a day to remember!!

Wir wurden pünktlich von unserem Guide abgeholt. Die Tour war nur für uns, was ich eigentlich schade fand. Meine Kritik gilt nicht unserem Guide Jeremia, er hat uns viel erklärt und es war wirklich interessant.
Allerdings habe ich aus der Beschreibung interpretiert, dass wir Wandern!
Das zu Fuß gehen beschränkte sich auf vielleicht 300 Meter die Straße entlang. Auf meiner Bestätigung steht „inklusive Lunch“ - davon haben wir leider nichts gesehen. In Summe hat das Ganze 4 Stunden gedauert und ist für den Preis absolut überteuert.
Würde ich definitiv nicht weiterempfehlen!
Und die 3 Punkte gibts nur wegen unserem Guide, sonst hätte ich es noch schlechter bewertet.

Dear Daniela. Thank you for your feedback on the Swartberg Pass half-day tour you did with Jeremy. We appreciate every opportunity to listen to our clients feedback so that we can ensure that we meet their expectations. Please allow me the following feedback if I may. Jeremy is, as you mentioned, a fantastic guide and also the only specialist "Khoi" guide offering these tours.
I note that you were surprised that there were no other guests participating on this tour with you. The reason is that we only offer private tours and thus our tours are more exclusive. Most clients appreciate this. You will also notice that this is mentioned in the tour description.
You also had the expectation to do a more formal hike. Please also note that the half-day tour included an optional hike as per the tour description. If you requested Jeremy that you wanted to do more hiking he would have gladly accommodated your request. Lastly, when you made the booking on 18 February 2019 there was no lunch included in the tour package. We only added lunch and hotel "pick-up" in April 2019. This is the reason why you were not offered lunch. I trust you will find my feedback satisfactory. Kind regards - Jan
