Good tour of rio formosa for about 6 hours.
The boat guide captain is kind, takes the time to explain the interests of the place visited.
A very nice day punctuated by a very pleasant homestay meal.
The family business works well and goes out of its way to please you, it's great.
I highly recommend

I thought this trip was 3.5 but can only give it 3 or 4 ... it was somewhere between average and very good ... let's say just good . The positives : The guide / skipper ( Roberto ) was brilliant . His knowledge , friendly disposition and patience and ability to explain everything in four languages ( English , French , Portugese and Spanish ) was amazing 👏. The swim spot was secluded and stunning . The lunch provided by Luisa very nice. The three island stops interesting in their own right . Ok the negatives : 70 euro per person was not great value for what you get. For starters lunch wasn't a help yourself to buffet . It was a select one dish scenario with some bread , spreads and olives. You are left to your own devices at each stop . There is no guided tour on the islands. We were led to believe from advertising that the Ria Formosa was a wildlife sanctuary ... alas you don't see much wildlife just sand banks . The final thing I found disappointing was they changed the start and finish time from 10 till 4 to 11 till 5pm and was only notified the day before . This made it a little awkward with my pre-organised transport to and from Olhao. Overall a good day , brilliant guide , well cooked food and nice day exploring the three islands but would I do it again for 70 euro ... probably not .

Although we really enjoyed this day with some nice discoveries and nice encounters, I think, based on the comments and photos published, that we did not come across the right day. The meal was good but, in my review, we had minimal service. And as a result, the Award is a little high. But, as I said at the beginning, it was a beautiful day.

The tour was wonderful, the Guide Mr. Carlos, was spectacular, always attentive and everything very well explained in relation to the history of each island. The divine lunch.

Superb sea trip with Carlos our very nice Guide. Incredible swimming on a wild island visible at low tide, transparent water assured. Meals at home in all simplicity and friendliness, we are delighted with this experience, thank you.

Incredible day with Carlos who made us discover the lagoon and its islands. Swimming breaks on the islands, typical lunch at Luisa's, all embellished with Carlos' explanations and anecdotes in French: 6 hours that have passed in a flash and a day that we are not about to forget!

Beautiful and unforgettable outing in the ria formosa and in good spirits thanks to Carlos, our guide and skipper, speaking perfect French. His clear and detailed explanations allowed us to discover this place. And thank you also to Luisa for her welcome and the excellent and hearty meal. Not to be missed when coming to olhao.
