We just did this tour last week as a part of the Norwegian Cruise Line. I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. We started with a drive through the city and stopped at a place to take some pictures. Our guide Natasha was very sweet. We then proceeded to a gorgeous winery with fantastic views and a wine fountain. We were able to sample one wine included in our price. We stayed for about 30-45 minutes and then proceeded to the Koper town center. We got a tour of the area and also tried gelato. Unfortunately the donuts were sold out so we were unable to try those but we proceeded to cookies and tapas. A nice easygoing tour! Enjoyed it!

Our guide, Andi, was very good. He was personable and informative as he told us about the history of the country and gave us insight into the people and their daily lives. The tour, however, wasn’t what I expected. We didn’t go to Piran (a main reason I chose the tour) as indicated in the tour description. Andi explained that they stopped going there due to overcrowding which is understandable but it should have been removed from the description. The taste portion of the tour was also disappointing. While the wine was quite good the other items we tasted were a donut, gelato, a liqueur, and a huge cookie or another gelato. Each of these were good but I expected to try a cheese or meat or some other typical food instead of all sweets.

The tour is not like te description! When the tour starts, the tourguide told us, that we can not drive to Izola, Piran and Portoroz, because buses are not allowed to drive in this towns. So we drive only to two points: A viewpoint over Izola, and the Wine Paradise Marezige. Then we had a town walk in Koper, and there we get go to five points for tasting. The Tourguide was good and so it was o.k. But it was not an Hop on Hop of Tour, and you will not see the promised towns!

Our tour guide was great! He was very attentive and educational. Highly recommended for those visiting on a cruise. There were many great surprises along the way

A very very good value tour to some beautiful places made it even better by our tour guide Andy. We learned so much from Andy as he made it very personal even showing us the apartment where he grew up in his beautiful hometown. The tour was a great combination of guided along with free time to explore areas on your own. I would highly recommend this tour to anybody.

The tour guide Natasha is amazing. I give a low rating because out of four cities we visited only two. The stories about traffic congestion are impressive, but we all know that you were transporting two groups at the same time. my experience is negative

The sites are magnificent but the organization needs to be reviewed. We are on a cruise and choose a local company directly.
An email with a meeting point and a Google link.
Except that the meeting is finally in the port when leaving the boat and that the flag is not accurate (blue in the yellow mail on site). A couple was waiting in the wrong place.
1h15 to Isola, then 2 hours to Piran... Bus 25 minutes late, you have to cancel poroze to be sure to get back to the ship on time.
We need to review this: remove poroze or reduce the time elsewhere...
In short, it's a great excursion but you have to find the right balance.

Stanley did a perfect job. He told us about the history and sights and was funny to listen to. We stayed longer in Piran as there is more to see, which was great.

Natasha was a wonderful guide. The pride she held for her home country shone through in every detail she gave. This was a wonderful tour with some walking optional for those who were disabled. Enjoyed trying the espresso, gelato, cake and salts. Would definitely recommend!

Unfortunately we never made the trip. The phone number on the tix was out of service. We couldn’t confirm with the tour people. Now they won’t refund our money and claim it was our fault because we missed the pick up. We even tried to contact them through trip advisor and trip advisor could not make contact with the provider. Now they’re refusing to refund our money and claim it was our fault cause we missed a message from a week before our trip and the pick up time

Thank you for your feedback. As you have stated, because you missed a message from a week before our trip and the pick up time we can not refund it. We were there waiting for you on time, we would sell those tickets to someone else but couldn't as we had to wait for you 5 min after departure time only to find out you took another tour long time ago. We had 300 guests on the tour and everyone showed up except from you Sir. Nevertheless, we hope you had a great day in sLOVEnia.

it says it is hop on and hop off. Does that mean you can spend more time in one village if you want or are you bound by the bus schedule? I.e. are there later buses/vans that you can hop on or off later if you want to spend more time in one town
