This tour was great! They pick you up and drop you off from your hotel. You stop in town at San Antonio and see a cute museum and church and then to the ranch. The horse back riding was great, food amazing, dancing was fun and they have you participate which was so fun too. The horse whisper show was something I ever seen very cool. Shoutout to our guide Stella she was amazing and gave such great information and really made the tour so great. I highly recommend this tour well worth it.

Do NOT GO!!!
First of all the best part of the tour was the incredible guide Myriam, really learned a lot from her!
Interested in gaucho culture and heard of unique ways of gauchos riding horses.
But the estancia is really lack of life and vibrancy.
Horses are tired.
The food is good.
The show was disaster.
This is not called dance, okay?
The most ridiculous part was “ dramatic horsemanship display by the gauchos”. I expected some wild horseback riding performances such as whistling, standing riding, quick turning. But the horse was just still, not moving. It was really kind of “display”.
Disappointed and far too expensive!

Man kommt ins Umland von Buenos Aires! Auf der Fahrt hat uns Enrique interessante Informationen gegeben. Des Weiteren hatten wir einen Zwischenstopp bei einem Silberschmied eingelegt. Auf der Ranch war es fantastisch: BBQ, Musik und Tanz und die Pferdeshow war top bzw. haben wir sowas noch nie gesehen. Auch das Reiten hat uns Spaß gemacht.

Great fun riding the horses. Very gentle ride. Asado was great too with what seemed like unlimited food and wine. Dances were also fun.

Just a great, relaxing, informative tour to Gaucho country. Treat yourself to get out of the city, breathe the fresh air of Areco, and enjoy a glimpse of Campo life. Miryam, our guide, was excellent--I cannot say enough about how wonderful and helpful she was. And the food! You won't have a better asado anywhere. I give it 5 stars only because the site doesn't let me give it ten--Diez Puntos!

Nico was a great tour guide, informative and supportive. He kept the entire day care free and light. Hotel pick up and drop off was smooth. About 2 hours to San Antonio de Areco, with a pit stop in between for restrooms, then a stop in the town center before entering the estancia. A beautiful day out of the city, in a quaint ranch with lovely people. The horseback ride and empanadas were amazing!

Our tour guide Miguel was exceptional, so generous in sharing information and stories about the Argentinian culture, people, history and economy. This was such a rich day of experiences including showcasing local artisans, guancho folk show, horse riding, beautiful ranch and a delicious banquet of food and wine.

Everyone was very pleasant and welcoming. The guide was very knowledgable and give interesting information along the way. The horseback ride was about 20-30 minutes. We enjoyed the music and gaucho show after the meal.

This was a wonderful break from the bustle of Buenos Aires. From the welcoming empanadas to the veritable feast provided with lunch, the food and wine was delicious and plentiful. The estancia setting was peaceful and beautiful. We loved the music and dancing after lunch. Our guide Myriam was a marvel--she provided a lot of information and context without it seeming like we were back in class. We highly recommend this tour.

We are staying at the Buenos Aires Hilton. We are scheduled to go to a Tango dinner/dance at 7:15 on January 6th, 2023. If we take the Gaucho Day Tour Ranch in San Antonio de Areco on the same day will we get back to the hotel in time to go to the Tango dinner/dance?

It could be close. We did that but we did not go to the tango dinner, only the show. That worked out great.

I have lost my passport during my stay in Buenos Aires.
I have an emergency travel document to travel back home and a valid UK driving license.
Will I be able to go on the tour with these? Will you accept them?
