Hi, I had booked this tour and another full day tour through Viator/Trip Advisor. Unfortunately there were issues with both tours and the pick up time and address that was given to me. Because of this I wasn’t able to go on either of the tours. And was stuck trying to figure out my own way to see a similar itinerary. I have contacted Gray Lines Argentina, who keep telling me they can’t refund me for the tours. They’re reasoning is that I was a passenger No Show. I had booked 2 seperate tours to see the falls. Full day tour to the Argentinian side for yesterday (Nov 20th), and a seperate booking for half day tour to the Brazilian side for today (Nov 21st) I would like a full refund for both tours. Nov 20 - wrong departure point was given shown on my ticket Nov 21 - tour bus did not show up For the tour booked for Nov 20 the departure point on my ticket was stated as Hotel Saint George. I waited there for an hour, and when the receptionist at Hotel Saint George called Gray Lines i was then told that I was a no show, because the local tour company had gone to Tucan Hostel to pick me up. After yesterday’s mixup, I messaged to confirm the Pick up point and time for the second tour. I got written confirmation of a pick up from Tucan Hostel at 7:30 am for November 21st. I waited until 8 am before trying to call, however no one was contactable from Gray Lines, and i wasn’t told who the local Tour operator in Puerto Iguazú was. The contact number provided on the ticket and any correspondence did not ring or wasn’t answered. I waited until 8:10 am for the tour company. I understand that there may be a delays because of all the Hotel pick ups. But my pickup time was supposed to be 7:30 am. And there was no indication from either Gray Lines or the local tour company of a time range for pickup. Given my previous experience from the day before, where I called up at 8:15am and was told that I was too late to join the tour or meet up with them. I think it was reasonable for me to assume that tour did the same thing as yesterday and left without me again. Gray Lines insist that I was a no show this morning as well. Apparently the tour bus arrived at 8:25 am and I was not present. I have screenshots of my confirmations of departure date and times. As well as a geolocated photo of a grumpy me waiting outside my hostel this morning at 8:04 and 8:10 am. I’m happy to provide any further information you require. Please advise if there is anything you can do in order for me to get my money back for the tours that I was not able to attend.
