This beautiful scenery plus a well-run tour equaled just what we wanted! It was easy to sign up for this tour because we prefer easy hiking and great photos, which we got!
The boat ride was an hour long- we stayed on the upper deck and took some awesome glacial photos. The majority of the other passengers went downstairs after the first 30 minutes, which gave us more photo opportunities. We brought our own lunches, and enjoyed walking along the shoreline in the park after our guide showed us how to use the simple color-coded trail system. The trails were made of sturdy metal-grated steps and pathways with railings. Before reuniting with our group back at the bus, we stopped for refreshments at the park’s snack bar. It was a very enjoyable and memorable day! (Be sure to purchase your national park tickets online beforehand, and study whether a 1, 2 or 3 day pass makes the most sense for you).

All went well it’s a beautiful place you need local currency if you buy the ticket at the gate or pay online if you have time pack some food and enjoy it on your walk

Pros:
We started from El Calafatae, where the company contact punctually picked us up at 9:00.
Our guide, Pablo, was very patient and explained everything in detail.
The weather was perfect, and we could take the boat tour to see the Perito Moreno Glacier.
Cons:
The trip was expensive compared to all the other providers.
We were charged $240/person, whereas other companies charged $150 for the trip to the national park, including the boat tour. I was under the impression that this tour would also take us to Upsala Glaciers, but the tour was very much the same as $150 (trip to the national park + boat tour).
Please don't go for this trip unless you want to be in a van with less than 20 people( I am not sure what advantage it provides)

What can I say. Wow! One of the highlights of our visit to Patagonia. If you only visit one place, this must too if your list. Incredible. Our guide Nadia was fabulous. Fun, informative & such a lovely lady. A truly memorable day with my husband & son 😊

Spectacular sight of this huge glacier. There are always small ice breaks with a loud bang. Our guide explained a lot to us along the way and it was very interesting to learn about the country and people,
I didn't go on the boat trip, that was a mistake.

The park is fantastic, and should be visited. The tour group leaves a lot to be desired. The bus pick-up was more than 45 minutes late and we were told it was the fault of the tourists, not the tour company. This time was cut off the time we had to visit the catwalks and see the actual glacier. You would be better off renting a car and driving there yourself. Once again, the park is worth a visit, but yoy shoukld avoid the tour companies. They are only interested in maximum profit, not your tour experience.

Day very well spent. The trip is going very well. They picked us up at the hotel at the scheduled time. Our guide, Natália and the driver were great. Natalia explained everything very well, gave us a lot of information and is very friendly. He spoke Spanish and English fluently, switching from one language to the other without any problems. Incredible! The pass was great. The Glacier is beautiful! We were able to see ice blocks collapsing, we walked the entire walkway route without any problems and you can see the glacier very well. We took a picnic and had lunch on the benches along the route, overlooking the glacier. A must! In the end, we drank a gin with ice from Perito (!!) at the bar.

The tour was great. We were brought to the glacier with a couple different viewpoints, and then we had three hours on the boardwalks, partially guided by our guide Nadia, who is phenomenal, and partially on our own. Then we did the boat tour, which was really good too. There was a very cute shop with food and souvenirs. Also that we stopped at. The glacier is breathtaking. Definitely worth a day if you’re in the El Calafate area.

boa noite. existe um pedido do numero de passaporte na reserva do passeio e copia do mesmo para menores de 15 anos. vou viajar apenas com o RG, e meu filho de 6 anos esta na mesma situação. podemos utilizar os mesmos em substituição as funções do passaporte no passeio?

I am sorry to see your question 4 months later .... the answer of mine would be: ACCORDING TO YOUR AGE ... if you are young and wanting adventure, Navigating the River that with the thaw becomes very abundant and fast, it is something to Young ... but the ride on the Lake, by boat, with experienced guides, is something priceless, and of any age ...

Hola, yo tome un tour con la agencia Hieloyaventura, ellos te retiran de tu hotel, hice el tramo de pasarelas y bote y luego me regresaron a mi hotel, me gustó mucho lo recomiendo, el costo fue $ 75,oo por persona.
