Fantastic hiking tour. Moderate so not too easy not too difficult, lots of beautiful views and information provided. Had us back to the cruise ship in plenty of time. Recommend

Our group of four had a fabulous tour in Ushuaia which included a hike in the national park a stop in the visitor's center, a ride on the end of the Pan American Highway, the opportunity to mail cards from the "end of the world" post office, and a photo op in front of the brand new Messi mural. Though the day was strenuous for our over 70 crowds, we all did just fine and thoroughly enjoyed our guide Giselle.

Excellent tour ! Guide allowed us to modify our tour slightly depending on what everyone agreed to (there were 6 of us). Highly recommend this tour. The van was waiting for us at port exit. The hikes were not extremely strenuous (not a lot of elevation change).

Great tour, more walking than hiking but this tour focused on lake area. There is a full day hike at higher elevations but must plan in advance. Guide was knowledgeable and provided insight on fauna and area. Beautiful area and scenery.

Enjoyed the magnificent views and the local fauna and flora, very well explained by the guide.

We had an incredible time! Juan, our guide was fun, informative, and professional. Ushuaia was beautiful, and we felt like we had an advantage over all of the tour groups on busses as we watched them from afar in our small group with superior vistas! Communication before and after the trip was responsive and reassuring. This is a company that understands the industry and should be trusted. Thank you Edgar for this experience!

We chose a shore excursion from the Cruise Critic and was well organised. It was with Edgar and although we enjoyed it, the three hikes we did we felt was poorly organised. The hardest hike was first and the two others were very low difficulty. Could have had the lesser ones first and then the hardest one last to get used to the walking.The guide we had had a strong accent and was based at the front of the bus and should have been in the middle of the bus so that those at the back had a chance of hearing him.. All in all, we had a good day, no problems and probably would choose same again. .Amazing part of the world

A van picked us up from a parking area some distance from the ship, at the end of the pier plus more steps. I think this is a constraint on all private excursions and possibly ship-organized ones too. Then we rode through Ushuaia for a few minutes to get a general feeling of the town. Then the van went onto Hwy 3 to go into the park. While in the park the van stopped at various locations, whereupon we visitors alighted from the van and walked 20-30 minutes on trails.
All the stops offered great views of the park, and I took plenty of photos.
One of the stops was a large building which had a cafeteria, a museum, a shop and of course restrooms. It's by the side of a large lake and there is a walk at this stop. To be clear, the van parks in the parking lot of the large building, you're not walking very far from the van to the building. There is a trail to walk though with more sights to see than can be seen from the building.
One of the stops had the post office at the end of the continent. I think the sign claimed that it was the geographical center of Argentina, including the Argentine Antarctic. Again there is a walk from here.
There is also a stop that allows you to walk down to the end of the highway. The van drops you at the start of the walk and you meet the van at the end of the highway.
The timing of the excursion might feel on the early side. If it is, consider it a bonus as you watch the giant buses arrive at the parking lot at the end of the highway just as you're boarding the van to return to Ushuaia. We had about 15 minutes where the buses had not yet arrived.
The description of the excursion in its brevity didn't mention that it is a series of walks so the experience was a lot different than I pictured.
I personally was not impressed with the appearance of cities in Argentina and didn't need to see what I think would be the least attractive section of Ushuaia.
The van was driven by a driver who didn't need to speak English well, and didn't. The guide spoke English well.

A group of us completed this tour - everything was very simple with the booking process, quickly answered emails and when additions were made to the group, there was no issue. The day itself was just brilliant - fabulous scenery, friendly helpful guide - all in all a fabulous experience and definitely recommended. Don't hesitate to book - you won't regret it! :0)

This tour is well worth it because of the excellent tour guide and the beauty of the park. However, the ease and amount of the walking is not really what any hiker would label as a hike. This is more like a drive to different viewpoints/places in the park with some easy walking. My wife needs a cane to walk & she was easily able to do this. I booked this tour from a cruise ship so that could have something to do with how this was conducted. There are some excellent hikes in this area so if you are expecting to hike it's probably best if you ask some very specific questions.
