This was a lovely way to spend an evening. Our group enjoyed this interesting and entertaining guided tour of the stunning Sedona sky.

The viewing was breathtaking! We are used to seeing the planets: Venus, Jupiter and Mars in the night sky, but the clear sky with no city light interference was spectacular! The Milky Way was especially awesome. Our guide was able to point out famous constellations and tell us folk lore about their formations and how they came to be. He provided large rounded chairs, cozy fluffy blankets and very effective hand warmers to help make our viewing experience comfortable.

We lucked out, weathweise, with the clouds staying away until 9:30 or so. Chad and his helper got us all bundled up, which was necessary given the temperature. Chad did an amazing tour of the night skies, with story after story after story. Our night tour was augmented with several shooting stars and a choir of coyotes howling and chirping nearby. The only criticism we can offer is that Chad carried on with his tales well beyond the 2 hours and between the cold and the need for a bathroom made us high-tail out of there as soon as he put lights back on. One final note: Chad's use of a laser pointer made seeing the constellations SO much easier. We would definitely recommend this tour in warmer weather!!

And yes, the clouds cleared for us for most of the tour, which I was very happy about given it had been cloudy during that day. Perhaps waving the magic wand, blowing the conch shell, and chanelling into the Vortex like we did at the beginning of the tour helped, eh? 😄
Whatever the case, I always offer a money back gaurantee on cloudy nights if guests are willing to come out and give it a try like you did. 🙂
And yes, I apologize because I lost track of time while telling stories and went past the two hour mark. There's just so much to say ....I have to wrestle like Hercules to keep it at two hours 😄 but most of the time I do. 🙂
And yes, it was also below average in temperature that night, so Hatsumi and I tried to load you guys up with hand warmers and several blankets each🙂

Omg this was amazing! This trip was part of my husband's birthday present cause he loves stargazing. Wow! It was cold, but Chad and Victoria made sure we were warm and comfortable. And Chad took us on an epic adventure through the stars by pointing out constellations and telling stores from various cultures. We were in absolute awe the entire time!!!

The stories and details were amazing.
Extra blankets,and hand warmers.

Chad was an entertaining and informative guide to the sky. He skillfully led us through the Milky Way, the constellations, and bright visible planets. Chad's "light saber" and easily understood concepts plus the beautiful near moonless night made this a memorable Sedona experience.

Chad is very knowledgeable and entertaining. Although it was a cloudy night we learned and lot about the constellations and enjoyed the stories of Sedona.
The blankets and hand warmers provided kept us cozy while we were entertained.

Thanks too for being adventurous on a cloudy night. As it says on my site, I often proceed when it's cloudy because the the Oak Creek Canyon micro climate night winds often push out the clouds. Unfortunately they must not have all the way on your tour, but that's why I make it a money back gaurantee on cloudy nights based on the guests discretion. 💫

Chad was excellent. Ge communicated very well prior to the tour. He had blankets and warmers ready to go. His enthusiasm was contagious! Loved his stories. Remember it is cold in the desert at night dress really warm.

Chad was amazing. We were disappointed because the sky was cloudy and we didn’t see many stars. But Chad still was able to show us some constellations and talk about it. There were chairs with blankets to keep us warm. I would recommend this tour.
