God guide, der kunne fortælle meget.
Men turen der skulle være med alt betalt, kostede alligevel dyre drikkevare til frokost, og kamel ridningen kostede også ekstra
Ligesom vi blev vist ind til 3 forskellige “butikker”, der med snilde fik os til at bruge en del penge på deres produkter, fordi vi følte os presset til det.

It's Ok only if you're scared to travel and work things out for yourself.
Personally found the trip a bit of a con. Good price for the fact you get the ferry both ways, entrance into the cave etc. However the walking tour your taken to various places where they basically try to rip you off. A herbal medicine doctors where they keep you a good while going on about how wonderful their Argon oil is. They sell it for €15 but you can but it in your free time after in many shops for 6-8€ . Then you're taken to see them making scarfs/towels/rugs etc and again a hard sell after of greatly inflated prices. Lunch was good food but again be very careful. You're told drinks are not included but the first thing they do is bring you out a special juice that you think is part of the meal. € 2 added to your drinks bill. Then the people playing music there want tipping, the waiters want tipping and then you're hounded as you leave by a few particular street sellers who follow you around. Rachid was our guide. Friendly but if he knows anyone in the group from before. You won't hear a word from him. He will be busy laughing and joking with them the whole time. Camel ride was literally 30 secs long, cost €2 and just about time for a photo. All in all, tangier is grossly overpriced for tourists. My advice, book a holiday further in and you will see the real Morocco. However if you must go their, I would recommend trying to do it alone. There is enough info online to get all the information needed and see all.

Amazing tour and an amazing tour guide both in Spain and Morocco. This tour was very enjoyable and the energy was impeccable. I would definitely reccomend this tour to anyone that wants to get a taste of what Morocco has to offer. Muchas Gracias!

What was probably one of the most anticipated highlights of our trip was instead the worse, thanks to a horrible Spanish tour guide Manuel who barely spoke to us, put us on a ferry and didn't tell us till halfway across the Strait of Gilbrator that we need to go see the Immigration officers at the other end of the boat for entry into Morocco, a rushed tour thru the back streets of Tangiers where we were only allowed to "shop" at stores that the Moroccan tour guide got commissions at, street vendors who followed us every step of the way, pushing scarves, lamps, magnets, t-shirts in our faces even after we said "NO" several times, along with children trying to beg for money and grabbing you as you were walking, making you fear that you were about to be pickpocketed any second. And don't even get me started on the 60 second camel rides in a dirt parking lot or the joke that is the Caves of Hercules.
Top that with Manuel not making sure everyone had the proper paperwork to both leave AND RETURN back to Spain from Morocco, and suddenly you have two girls from our group being put BACK on the ferry to Africa because they were denied reentry to Spain.
It was a rough 17 hours (tour started at 8am and we didn't get back till our hotel till 1am).
Top that with Manuel not making sure everyone had the proper paperwork to both leave AND RETURN back to Spain from Morocco, and suddenly you have two girls from our group being put BACK on the ferry to Africa because they were denied reentry to Spain.
It was a rough 17 hours (tour started at 8am and we didn't get back till our hotel till 1am).

Excellent day trip. Rashid our guide was courteous, respectful, funny and knowledgeable. We only wish we had a bit more time.
Instructions said to be at the ferry for 9am but we didn't leave until 10:30 and we were back to the ferry terminal at 4:30 but didn't depart for Tarifa until close to 6 pm.

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to Tangier. The meet up at the port in Tarifa was a bit confusing as No one immediately identified themselves as part of the tour. They also asked for us to be there an hour before the ferry departed so there was a lot of sitting around. Once we arrived in Tangier, Rashid meet us and did a great job of getting us around. We was very knowledgeable and quite humorous. He definitely made the trip worthy while. I’m not sure how he didn’t lose anyone on the walking part but he didn’t. There are a couple of sales pitches at the end of the tour but nothing different from other tours we have taken.

We had an amazing day in Tangier with our tour guide Rashid. My only complaint was that the initial meeting place and instructions were not very clear, but once we were onboard the ferry everything was smooth sailing. Upon arriving in Tangier we were greeted by our guide, Rashid. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We were able to see many sites, eat an authentic lunch, walk the city streets, and meet the area merchants in just a few short hours. Obviously there are many vendors trying to make a sale, tourism is their livelihood, but if we felt they were getting too pushy Rashid was quick to step in and ask them to leave. I would recommend this adventure to anyone visiting the area!

Muy buena experiencia. Teníamos la incertidumbre de que una parte del programa fuese llevarnos a tiendas para tratar de vendernos cosas, y no fue así. Nos llevaron en autobus al Cabo Espartel, la gruta de Hércules y después nos dejaron en la Medina de Tánger, donde visitamos la Kasbah y el zoco. En la visita al zoco nos llevaron a una tienda de alfombras justo cuando nos dieron 30 minutos para que paseásemos por el zoco, así que nos salimos y callejeamos por la zona. Todo muy fácil y bien organizado. Nos hemos quedado con ganas de volver a Marruecos en un viaje más largo de varios días.

Prenotato su internet, 115€ a persona, arrivati al punto d’incontro mi aspettavo il tour operator dell’organizzazione che ci aspettasse, invece il caos più totale.
Non importava con quale tour operator si avesse prenotato, eravamo tutti un unico gruppo, il che non era un problema, però chiedendo in giro, il prezzo più alto sembrava lo avessi pagato io.
Mi sono sentita lasciata a me stessa e in un paese straniero è la cosa più brutta.

Hola, me gustaría saber si yo siendo de nacionalidad colombiana pero residente en España desde hace 15 años puedo viajar un día a tanger sin visado, solo con el pasaporte en una excursión guiada? Gracias!

Hi Bea, Yes, it does. The tour rep will meet you at the ferry terminal, take your passport, and use it to collect your tickets for you. He returns with your tickets and your passport, don’t worry. 😁 All you have to do then is queue to board. I suggest that you go straight to the booth on board to join the queue for passport control, it can take the entire length of the voyage to get it sorted. Once there, you’re met by another rep who will show you your bus for the tour. They then take you into the medina for lunch. They will take you to a shop or two but, if you’re with friends, act like you’re not interested and get free time to explore. It’s much more fun. Remember, it’s a dry country so, if you want a beer, you have to go to an international hotel. Try the Al Minzah, up the hill from the medina. Hope that helps. Paul
