Thanks for everything Patrick. Your company Great View Adventures, staff and all the workers are extremely polite hard working , caring and attentive to all of our needs and concerns.Because of you guys we was able to reach the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro..and for that we greatly appreciate and would like to say Thanks for making our experience in Tanzania an epic memory/adventure! I will be back and book a trip to Zanzibar beach with you next year 2021.

Our trip up Kilimanjaro with Great View Adventure was the trip of a lifetime, and I would highly reccomend anyone who is thinking about a trip to Tanzania/Killi got with the exceptional team at GVA. One of the most valuable things GVA does right is curating the entire experience from beginning to end - the team will greet you at the airport, take care of everything in Arusha, up the mountain, back down and drop you back at the airport for your flight home. Patrick (our head guide) and his team are phenomenal, both at logistics and planning but also creating a friendly, fun and enjoyable environment. Everyone on the climbing team (guides, porters, cooks, etc.) was incredibly nice, kind and a joy to be with. He told us along the way that he has been with his team for many years, and only hires the best - and it shows!
Make no mistake, climbing Kilimanjaro can be difficult at times, and even dangerous if not done right. Patrick and his team do it RIGHT. They did a perfect job of making sure that everyone was safe, and had the knowledge, care and motivation to make it to the top. Our whole group of 8 made it to the top, and it is wholly due to our excellent guides monitoring our condition and progress along the way.
The trip itself should also be at the top of everyone adventurer's travel list. There is nothing like hiking through jungle, desert, snow to reach the top of the mountain. The view from the top is absolutely incredible, and the views along the way are just as if not more picture-worthy.
We give our strongest reccomendation that you take the trip of a lifetime and climb Kilimanjaro with Great View Adventure!

I highly recommend booking your Mount Kilimanjaro climb and Safari with Great View Adventure. Our guide Patrick was exceptional. Once our group arrived in Tanzania, Great View Adventure handled everything- picking us up at the airport, handling all accommodation, and ensuring that we had the proper gear for our expedition.
Patrick's team is second to none. After each day of hiking, our tents were completely set up and we were provided with hot (!) water. The chefs provided us with delicious food each morning and night and were very responsive to special requests.
Patrick and his team are very prepared and know exactly what to do to ensure you make it to the summit. Each guide is attentive to the clients and can sense how they're feeling and what their individual needs are. They are kind, caring, and encouraging. I felt their genuine pride when we pushed through weather conditions and (for a few of us) altitude aversion.
We ultimately ended up reaching the summit in 6 days instead of 7. Each day Patrick and his team laid out the plan for the day and we discussed as a group what the best path forward would be. Any tricky parts of the hike where discussed in advance so we were prepared for the day's climb.
Our entire group reached the top! Summit day was the toughest climb, but the rush of climbing the highest peak in Africa makes it all worth it. You can be confident that as hard as you're working, Patrick and his team are working harder to ensure you have the best summit experience imaginable. I truly don't believe I would have accomplished this without our incredible guides- they made this an experience I will look back on happily and proudly for the rest of my life.
After we finished Kilimanjaro, we stayed a few days to experience all the beautiful wildlife and nature Tanzania has to offer. Patrick guided us on a three-day, two-night safari in Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara National Park. The scenery almost didn't feel real it was so stunning. Great View Adventure's safari land cruiser was very comfortable and really fun to be driven around in. Patrick has a wealth of knowledge about the wildlife in the parks and has a great eye for spotting animals we would likely have missed. We were lucky enough to see 4 out of the big 5 in addition to giraffes, zebras, and many a baby elephant.
The hotel Great View Adventure arranged for us to stay in was a secluded resort, complete with a pool, great restaurant, and quiet rooms.
Adding on the safari was the perfect way to end our visit to Tanzania. I'm already looking to visiting again in the future. Needless to say, book Great View Adventure for your trip!
