We had an unforgettable time with Joshua Maro and John climbing Mt. Killimanjaro last autumn. The trip was professionally organized and the team was 100% supportive, so that we felt "in good hands"all the time. We are thankful for every moment, every step up and down we could spend together. This amazing one week Killi trip will always stay in our minds and hearts. Thanks to the team!

If you are thinking of stepping out of your comfort zone and hiking Mt. Kilimanjaro, you absolutely MUST go with Joshua Maro. Joshua ensured that every person in our group made it to the top of the mountain (and back down) safely. Joshua was helpful, knowledgeable, thorough, and made us feel safe and well-informed every single step of the way. Joshua is INCREDIBLE at his craft and our once in a life-time experience would not have been possible without him leading the way. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

I climbed the Machame route of Mt. Kilimanjaro with Joshua and I could not recommend a better guide! He went above and beyond to make sure I felt safe, comfortable, and motivated the whole time. When I look back on my trip I honestly think meeting Joshua as a guide was one of my favorite parts. He is an incredible person & I would trust him with anything! Highly recommend.

We climbed Kili with Joshua Maro and John from Legacy Tours & Safari and had a fantastic trip! We could not have wished for better guides on this memorable trip.
Everything was well organized from the friendly porters to the incredibly tasty food, regular health checks, solid tents and guides who seem to have and endless reservoir of insightful and funny stories about Kilimanjaro, its nature, animals, and culture.
We can totally recommend Legacy Tours and especially Joshua and John as guides, you guys rock!
