We had a delightful time. Very muddy. 🤣 If you don't like mud, this is not your excursion. I noticed most of the Dune Buggy tours had problems with the Buggy cutting off. Overall it was a fun muddy time.

This was one of the best excursions I’ve taken and it was well worth it. The day is fulfilling and thrilling.

We did the buggy tour never having done anything like this before.
Pick up was 25 mins late, not sure if this was the the buggy company or the hotels fault.
Arrived at the complex had a quick safety rules explanation then pushed into the shop and encouraged to buy things.
You then take a buggy ride to a very Plastic made up village and encouraged to buy tea,coffee and chocolate. Then the cave just opposite,again nothing authentic about it at all.
Next up the drive to macau beach,the fun part getting messy going through mud and water, you will get very dirty it’s great!!!
Macau beach is beautiful, you are harassed by the sellers on the beach so get in the water, we stayed 15 mins at this beach before another messy drive back.
Overall it’s basically a big sales pitch, the buggy’s are fun but that’s literally it.

This days we have to follow hotels safety measures, sometime it takes time, sorry for your experience. That s the way people sell artesany in dr ( expect that in Macao village) and we being toy to the local communities so they make their living, it’s up to you : to buy.

debo confesar que por primera vez sentí tanta adrenalina💪 increinble!! Me divertí demasíado todo el transcurso en los bugyy, la playa riquísima, el equipazo de guia que estuvierón allí con nosotros... bravo bro!
A todo el que pase por aquí a leer este comentario... al 100 la recomiendo, van a querer volver😉

Tours Pro Punta Cana was a Fun Adrenaline Rush! Get ready to get Down and Dirty with the Mud hitting you from every and any direction!
I previously did this excursion before a couple of years back so I’m was really excited to try it again.
The company provides transportation from your resort. Which is a plus because then you don’t have to worry about looking for any third party transportation service. The driver was really Nice! He ensured my my comfort and safety during the going and departing!
Once you arrive the company does have a few locals at their location selling items which in some cases may be a bother to people but for me it wasn’t really a big deal considering that I didn’t want to leave the resort at another time in attempt to find Gifts and Souvenirs. The items were nicely priced and wasn’t overly expensive.
I would love to give you details about the actual experience butttttt too many details may be a spoiler for you if you ever want to visit! Just know it was very adventurous! Riding in dune buggies, visiting the beach and enjoying a nice peaceful lunch on the beach, then being directed to one of the famous D.R. Underwater caves which are quite breathtaking, also bearing the history of Cocoa and their famous Mamajuana drink was all so intriguing!
Although it was two minor things that I didn’t like I still give the Company 5 stars out of 5. (I didn’t like the pushy local sellers that were on the beach, it felt like they were forcing you to purchase their items) Great Customer Service and a Fun Experience!

Although this was An amazing excursion. What ruined it for me were the locals. They were hounding myself and my 8 year old son. We were given about 20 mins at the beach and the locals that were selling merchandise made it so hard for us to let our hair down. It made me feel really uncomfortable and our tour guide witness it and didn’t try to help us. There were many kids throwing stuff at us while we were riding the Dune Buggy’s because we wouldn’t give them a $1. The caves were stunning but the vendors were very pushy they only seem to bother non Hispanics that didn’t look like them. We were about a group of 15 ppl and we were all Spanish ( I’m Puertorican) and they only bothered us.definitely tarnished our experience.

In those points, dominican are well known by being nice and treating every tourists nicely. In
Every tour you can find local vendors and they may be pushy as well however they can not hurt you ! In fact we checked with the tour guide about that incident and he said that nobody reported any agression from locals.

we liked it but got off to a rough start. we were on the 11am tour on a Thursday. we arrived to the slightly hard to find destination at 10:55. we were the only people there. At 11:10 we ask, when will we be going? they say " we are waiting for the other guests, they will be here about 11:30". What?? we had an 11:00 am tour. It turns out, 11:00 is when they start to pick up from the local hotels!. I really wish we were told that when we made our reservation, and we said we would be driving to the tour meeting area. We didn't actually start talking with the tour guide until 11:55! we were pretty annoyed. we literally just sat there for one hour wasting our vacation time.
They need better communication. Once we got our buggy, we stopped at a "chocolate and cigar factory". they should discontinue that stop. you just sit in chairs and they show you chocolate and cigars you can buy, it was kind of lame. The next stop at the cave was cool, you can jump into the small swimming area. Dune buggy's were fun, bumpy, dusty, just as in the pictures. Bring sunglasses, bandana, no requirement for closed toe shoes. at the stops, local people tried to sell us stuff, kind of annoying. this is a fun family trip. tour was about 12:00pm to 2:20pm I think.

This tour far exceeded our expectations. The whole family (including 4 kids from 6 to 17) all enjoyed it. The sites were awesome and the staff (Omega and Chocolate) kept us safe and having fun. Would definitely do again and recommend to others!
