The only good thing about this resort is the pool guy that was amazing. Roberto santos. He is the definition of superior service. In all my years traveling aboard this Man is the captain of service. As far as the rest of the hotel and service. Very bad. Rooms are dirty toilets don’t flush no hot water. No help from hotel management. 90% of workers have attitude for helping you. We are lucky to have met him and he made the day time by pool awesome. Never again this hotel. Stay away.

This was a totally frustrating experience that took us on an unnecessary tour of four hotels before we ended up at the Royalton Bavaro. If we were to do it again, it would be a direct cab service with one of the licensed taxis from the airport straight to the hotel. That would have saved us 1.5 hour of an unnecessary excursion. Also, do not fall for the official looking lady who will say “we need you to step aside for a confirmation” after your clear Dominican immigration/customs. You will be led into an aggressive selling area where you will get hustled to buy everything immediately after your long flight. I know that the island makes its money from tourism. But, the aggressive selling tactics are a total turn off.

There are a couple of inconsistencies with this review.
1) I checked all out bookings for July and you did not book a transportation service with us.
2) Your review is describing a collective transportation service and Vacation Shuttles only offers Private Shuttle Service from the airport to the hotel.
Your experience is valid and your frustration is understandable and that is why we don’t offer collective transportation service.
