Apex Shark Cage Diving was amazing. Highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to encounter sharks. Awesome crew, very well trained and informative. We had a great day and seen plenty of sharks. Best experience in Cape Town!

A really great experience.

We are so glad we choose Apex for our cage diving experience - they did't disappoint. Communication with their helpful staff prior to and after booking was excellent. On the day we were given clear instructions on the boat and we felt very safe in the cage and we're lucky enough to see 7 different bronze whalers up close. All in all a great morning adventure out at sea. Would recommend looking at the "combo tour" they offer on their website - the cage dive in the morning and then a land tour in the afternoon visiting Boulders Beach (Penguins) and then down to see the sights at the Cape. For a very reasonable supplement, we had a private land tour in the afternoon and our driver, Sam, was absolutelty first class. A very informative and entertaining guide and he made sure we saw everythiing we wanted to. Highly recommend Apex to anyone who wants to knock shark cage diving off their bucket list!

Must do in Cape town!

Really cool unique experience, something I have wanted to do for a long time. We had a group of 7 divers so plenty of time in the cage. We encoutered 3 bronze whaler sharks and as a bonus also saw a large group of dolphins on the way to the diving location. Nice and skilful personel that managed to get the sharks right in front of the cage. I would highly recommend.

Trip of a lifetime!

After lots of research we booked with Apex as so close to Cape Town and the excellent option of the whole day tour. Tania helped us with our decision of what suited us and answered countless questions before we booked! We were picked up from our apt by the wonderful knowledgeable driver Erfaan, who took us to the pretty Simonstown for our amazing dive experience! My husband always had a passion for sharks so this was a dream, our 13 yr old and 10 yr old were welcomed and looked after! We all intended to dive but sadly the choppy sea meant my son was seasick but the team on the boat watched over him so I could get in the cage still, albeit for a short time! My husband and daughter found it amazing a lifetime dream! We saw bronze walers, and lots of seals at Seal island! Back on land our fantastic guide Erfaan then took us onto the beautiful Boulders beach to see the penguins, which was a must do and dream for our son, and then we drove on to the stunning Cape Point with its breathtaking beauty and stunning views. A day we will always remember, and eternally grateful to Tania, Erfaan and the whole Apex team for putting it all together so seamlessly. This was a bucket list trip of a lifetime and was more than we could of ever imagined or dreamed of! Thank you so much!

Shark Diving Experience

We had a great time on our shark diving trip, thanks to the organisation of Apex.
Professional service and lovely people.
We managed to see loads of Dolphins, seals and most importantly…..sharks!
We would definitely recommend booking with Apex.

Unbelievable trip!

Had an amazing trip with Apex shark diving! Professional and friendly crew, safe trip, and saw lots of sharks up close! The little extras like snacks and our own water bottle souvenirs were a great touch. Bucket list tour for me, and they made it unforgettable!!

Cold, wet and AMAZIN

Great experience! We had to reschedule the tour due to weather, and when we went, it was still a cold/wet day but they can't control the weather. We had a great time, snacks provided, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We saw bronze whaler sharks, the cage experience was so much fun! Don't forget to bring dry underwear for when you are done!

Super Service!

Die Firma Apex Shark Expeditions können wir uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen. Vielen Dank an Karyn und Tania, die uns sehr im Urlaub mit ihren Empfehlungen und Ratschlägen weiter geholfen haben. Der Kontakt per email und per WhatsApp wurde immer beantwortet. Es wurde nicht nur das Käfigtauchen organisiert, sondern auch der Trip in das Private Game Reserve Aquila mit Transfer als auch eine deutschsprachige Bergführerin. Das Käfigtauchen war professionell. Die maximale Teilnehmerzahl ( 12 Leute) wurde nicht überschritten. Die Leute auf dem Boot machen ihren Job gut. Vielen Dank für diese Erfahrung! Wir wünschen alles Gute!

Do the Shark Diving!!

We loved the shark cage diving trip! We saw a whale, a million seals, and 17 sharks!! The crew was fantastic and diving was very cool. Highly recommend!
