This tour was one of the highlights of our time in Napflio! Our guides, Tigue and Oscar, were wonderful and they shared stories, information, and history about Napflio and the castles we saw. We enjoyed our stop to snorkle and snack on delicious treats. The pace was perfect and the equipment was all in great shape. I would highly receommend this tour.

Alex was extremely knowledgable about the castles and battles that occurred. He was gave excellent instructions on how to handle the kayaks and remained alert to everyone’s progress. He was quick to get assistance to anyone who seemed to struggle. He asked if anyone had physical concerns that he should know about. I told him privately that I have a hearing loss and struggle to hear guides when on tours. He always made sure ai was nearby when he spoke but did so without drawing attention to me. He was very personable and visited with individuals in the group during the trip as well as during our break. We were served sweet breads made by his mother and fresh fruit during our break. I highly recommend this trip.

Beautiful hike in Sea Kaya.The Guide gave us very useful tips before Check-out, which made the activity so enjoyable! It is not only a kayak tour but also an immersion in the history of fortresses and wars that shaped Nafplion. Then take a break on a private beach for snacks (melon and homemade cake) and snorkel in an enchanting site. The Guide took pictures that were then emailed to us. Highly recommended activity.

We have previously done the sunken city tour and came back this year to do the castle 🏰 tour. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming and gave lots of interesting information about the history of the medieval castles.
The home made cake is delightful and make by owners mother. Thanks for having us again. Lizzy and Dave x

The tour was really beautiful and the guide knew a lot about the Greek history, which made it a fun and interesting activity. Recommended for a family day out!

Awesome tour with history delivered in an interesting way. Both guides were very friendly and personable, and conversing freely with Alex was definitely memorable. Stopping at the more secluded beach to swim and snorkel was also a highlight. Totally recommend!

Brilliant tour led by Alex. Interesting history of the area and chatting to Alex gave an insight into life now in Greece. Snorkelling opportunities with an underwater camera. Delicious orange cake too. Highly recommend.

This is the only tour you should take!!
Absolutely amazing time kayaking around the old Capital of Greece.
For starters, driving to the location is absolutely beautiful, and really easy and fun way to start the journey.
The tour guide gives you a dry bag for anything you want to bring along, but the tour guide does have a camera and takes plenty of photos while you kayak.
The tour is full of history and enlightenment of what it must have been like so many years ago in this city. The guide goes above and beyond to explain the history of the battles and show you some amazing spots around the city.
At the end we stop in a private beach where you get to snorkel for an hour and come back to some fresh fruit and homemade orange cake. It was perfect, and the weather and water was perfect.
I highly recommend taking this tour, and at the end, ask the guide where to go to eat, and where to drive that is nearby. The side quest he gives you will be more than worth it.
Have fun and do this trip, you won’t regret it!

Our kayak excursion was one of the highlights of our time in Greece! From communicating everything we needed to know before the day of our tour to emailing us a Google link of pictures a few days after our tour, the Panexpeditions team provided a wonderful experience. We had never kayaked before, but they patiently taught us all we needed to know and then guided us all along the way. We learned the fascinating history of Nafplio's beautiful castles and fortresses while navigating the beautiful blue sea surrounding the charming town. Midway through our 4-hour tour, we stopped to enjoy some delicious snacks and snorkel in the warm clear water. Afterwards, we spent the afternoon on the gorgeous Karathonas beach, where our adventure began! We would highly recommend adding the Medieval Castles tour to your visit to Nafplio!

We recently enjoyed a fantastic kayak and snorkel adventure with Alex and PanExpeditions in Nafplio, and it was an unforgettable experience! The waters were almost perfectly still, making for a serene and enjoyable journey. Alex was an outstanding guide, bringing the area's history to life with his extensive knowledge of both the past and present.

How long is this tour in total? My husband and I will be visiting your island on Sun. August 4th on a Windstar cruise. Boat arrives 8am and departs 5pm.

It was about 4 1/2 hours you have plenty of time! Our ship was in port from 8-4 and even had time to go eat lunch at a place in town that they recommended!
