I did the trip a few years ago in October. It was great, the weather was perfect and we went kayaking during the trip.
It's a really nice experience, and if you live being in nature this camp it's perfect for you.

You sleep on camp beds, in sleeping bags in big tents, which is super comfortable and warm (even if it has 0°C at night).
The guide Baz knew his way around. The morning canoe trip to sunrise was also an absolute highlight - but we were also hugely lucky with the weather.
The food was just as great.

I can't imagine that there's a better way to explore Algonquin Park. Baz was a very hospitable and absolute experienced guide.
I had zero issues with the bookings and the overall process.

Great camping experience in Algonquinpark, you just have to paddle and wood preparation otherwise everything is taken care of.

Overall a wonderful experience with my 14 year old son. It was our first time camping. We were overwhelmed by the canoe trip to our campsite on arrival day, and back our final day. The canoeing our 2nd day was much easier, allowing us time to enjoy the paddle, and nature. Wish we would have done some exploring/sight seeing on land, not only by canoe. Food was amazing!

My experience to Algonquin Park was wonderful and unique. I was in Canada for a work experience and I choose to spend a weekend into the nature. Algonquin Nature Adventures was the perfect choice: I had the chance to fulfill into the nature of this beautiful park and to enjoy the company of a great group. Baz is amazing and he makes you enjoy every aspect of the experience! I really recommend them!
The canoeing is funny, food is very good and sleeping is super comfy! Baz and Kristina really makes your trip enjoyable, from the beginning with an efficient communication to the camping setup and sharing stories and experiences from the park they know very well.

I enjoyed the trip. The food was really good. Kristina is a good cook. The food had good variety. it was my first time experience of outdoor Camping and I was less tensed since the set up, food, water was already taken care of. The pick up and drop went smooth. Baz is a really experienced camper and he single handedly guided us through the entire process. He patiently answered all of the questions we had. He kept the whole trip on time . We saw the sunset and the clear night sky . We saw blue Heron, loon. I had a really good time in the group. I would hope to do this tour again next year..

Great trip, fantastic guide (and conversationalist!), delicious meals and splendid atmosphere! Baz and his friends took excellent care of us, we definitely recommend this trip!

Thank you very much. I had a very good time on our trip too. I am very happy you had a good time on the trip. I knew it was your first time here in the park. Thank you for all your help. The sunrise, the stars, the sauna ... it was all perfect. We had some pretty unusual campfire conversations ... so funny.
Thank you again and I hope one day I can see you in a canoe again. .

We had the most amazing time with Baz in Algonquin! Such an passionate and enthousiastic guide, a great camping spot (with great sleeping tents) with the best views over the lake, two warm meals a day (with great veggie options), … The sunrise and sunset kayak, sauna, campfires with marshmallows at night, it was all awesome! We saw a lot of different animals, including 2 moose during the sunrise paddle, beavers, snapping turtels, a snake and a loon. Best experience we had in Canada, would definitely recommend!

Thank you very very much for such wonderful words. I had an amazing time too. It was a great weekend with a great group. I was so happy you saw the two moose in the morning. You guys were a great help building the wilderness sauna. It wouldn't have been possible with out you guys. Thank you again so much. I hope one day to see you again :)

Superb experience but not Orignal. Too bad perhaps the place is not isolated enough. Very professional guide and perfect organization.

Thank you for your comments. I am happy you had a good time. August is the peak season and as the summer comes to an end, the park gets busier and sometimes it feels less isolated than it really is. Our area is aa very common bear/moose/beaver/snapping turtle/loon area and we see at least two of these on every trip and all of them on over half of the trips. That isolated feeling will come when you go camping in May, June, October or November. Going deeper into the park is an option, however, for a three day trip, it would increase the total paddling to 7 hours each on the first and third days. We sometimes do 5 day private group trips which are much deeper into the park, more hardcore, and less luxury. Thank you again and I am clad you had a good time on the Algonquin adventure.

What is the best way to get to the starting point coming from Toronto? We are backpacking and flying in that week, unsure on how to get to this point in the park
