Ride above a beautiful lake!

A very knowledgeable horse woman who was familiar with the vegetation and history of the area. Safety came first and the equipment was all in good repair. The horses (and my mule Leslie) were healthy, well behaved, and seemed happy to do their jobs! Well done!!

Fun trail ride. Sweet, handsome horses😎

We had a very nice ride. Almost 2 hours. There were 6 people in our group with different skill levels. Trail was pretty Rocky the first hour from all the rain earlier. Horses very well cared for.😎

Amazing experience
Thank you for an amazing day. Loved every minute! Such beautiful scenery, horses, and guide. And can not forget a shout out to the canine greeters. Highly recommend 😀

Happy trail ride

We really enjoyed our visit to the Ranch. The owners, Niki and David, were wonderful hosts and very personable. We enjoyed chatting with them and the other guests and learning all about their ranch. You can tell that they are passionate about horses and love them a lot. Our trail ride was lovely and the view was amazing. My horse, Quincy, was very nice and it was great to learn about all the horses personalities. My friend is an experienced rider (as a retired police officer of the horse unit) and he enjoyed it as much as I did (I’m a beginner). The horses are well-cared for and they rescue their horses, which is awesome. While you’re there, say hi to Pearl, their sweet little rescued dog. It was a wonderful experience and we highly recommend it! We will be back!

Great Family Experience

This was the most memorable experience that we did as a family while visiting Healdsburg. Nikki was our guide and my wife and I went out on a private ride through wine country and around the lake. The horses were happy and well behaved, the scenery was amazing and Nikki was a fantastic guide and very knowledgeable about the land and local history. To top it off, David and Nikki delivered an impromptu donkey ride for our 3 year old daughter that made her whole vacation. Thank you Nikki and David for an incredibly memorable experience! I highly recommend this business.

The Best of Sonoma County!

I recently spent a week in Sonoma County, and decided on this excursion for myself and my son. We made a day of it, stopping in Healdsburg on the way for a coffee at Black Oak Coffee Roasters, which was amazing.

We then enjoyed a beautiful drive up to The Ranch, which included a long windy road up the mountain. Along the way we saw beautiful homes, vineyards, and stopped at a peach stand.

Nikki at The Ranch was most helpful and make the whole experience really unique and fun. It was a hot day, but that didn't slow us (or the horses) down. The views from the trails were breathtaking, and the horses are silly and fun. All in all it was the best day (out of 7 days) in which we explored the area. So much fun in an otherwise slower paced, vacation.

Wonderful Weekend

It was my first experience. I was very nervous before the trip. During the riding there was surprise - at the beginning of the journey, my horse decided to turn around and I was very worried that I would do something wrong as necessary and would hurt the horse. But our guide Nikki helped me cope with the problem and my horse Magnum was very friendly. (Sorry for wrong spelling the names, if any). I really enjoyed that horse-riding and recommend taking this experience as I did.

Wonderful experience for first time rider

Wonderful experience. My teen son and daughter had a wonderful time, such a beautiful location. Excited to go back next year and bring along other family members to ride as well.

Had a great riding tour with my family and the lovely Nicky as guide :) She was very good at instructing us to get on with the horses and they were very sweet. A lovely time at the ranch and would love to come back!
