Fantastic experience! Our tour guide Greg was very knowledgeable, personable and fun! His passion shines through during the discussion of the area, wines and local businesses. We visited 3 wineries (Williamson Wine, Roadhouse Winery and Spicy Vines Winery) with a food and wine pairing at each and the Russian River Tea Company (tea and chocolate pairing). Thank you for a fabulous afternoon!

Our tour guide Greg was excellent. He was knowledgeable, very engaging throughout the tour, and took very good care of us. We visited 3 wineries and a tea shop, and had a blast the whole time. Excellent wine, great experience, and so much fun. Strongly recommend this tour and Greg was an awesome guide!

This tour was a good way to learn about the history, food and wine of Healdsburg. Dane'e was a very good. We had 3 stops at tasting rooms all paired with food. It was excellent. We had on stop at a tea/chocolate shop too. As we walked between each she pointed out places of interest from a theater for stage shows to various other restaurants.

I highly recommend this tour! Our guide Carol was delightful!! She was witty and fun keeping the group upbeat at all times. She guided us through the city stoping at places here and there for the most delicious wine and food pairings. We loved all the spots we visited and hosts we met. I would recommend this tour to those already familiar with wine but also to those who are not. My friend and I were unfamiliar with all things wine and this was a lovely introduction.

The Healdsburg Wine Tasting and Food Pairing Guided Walking Tour was absolutely fantastic! Denee was a wonderful hostess, as were the 3 winery hosts and the artisan tea hostess. Not only were the wines superb, but the food pairings were delicious and we learned a lot. Our group was small and lots of fun - so much laughter throughout the day. An added benefit was a peek into the small town friendly vibe of Healdsburg. We really cannot say enough good about this tour. Remarkable what was included for the price, which allowed for generous and well deserved tipping of each host. We HIGHLY recommend this walking tour!

We highly recommend this reasonable priced food pairing and wine tasting tour. Deenee, our tour guide, provided historical information about Healdsburg/Sonoma Valley as we visited 3 wine producers (Lurton, Rockpile, and Williamson). At each place, we were offered small bites that complemented the wine we were tasting. We were instructed to first sip each wine 3 times, taste the food, and finally the food and wine together. It sometimes changed our choices for our preferred wine and educated us on what wines best suited what types of food. We also visited a tea shop, which was a good break from just having wines.
Overall, the group of us preferred both Lurton and Williamson wines, as they were a great value for tasty mid-priced wines that you couldn’t buy at home.
As a tip, do this tour after you visited other wineries first so you can compare. Other couples on the tour purchased at least 1-2 cases to send home after striking out with other vineyards they visited earlier in the week. We did this tour on our first day so we opted to hold off on purchasing bottles to send home as well as join any of the wine clubs. By the end of our trip however, we ended up spending a lot more money buying wines and joining wine clubs from other vineyards since we didn’t have time to go back to Healdsburg.
Overall, the group of us preferred both Lurton and Williamson wines, as they were a great value for tasty mid-priced wines that you couldn’t buy at home.

Our family enjoyed a long weekend in Healdsburg recently. It was our first trip to the northern end of the Napa/Sonoma "wine country." Absolutely gorgeous area.
Given the short time we had, we wanted to do something that sampled Healdsburg's wonderful downtown wine scene. We opted for the Healdsburg Wine Tasting and Food Pairing Guided Walking Tour offered by Wine Country Walking Tours. We met our wonderful guide, Denée, in the lovely Plaza. For the next 4 hours or so, visited several wonderful boutique downtown wineries -- pairing wonderful foods with delicious wines. Sommeliers at each stop provided in-depth information on the winery, its vineyards and of course the wines -- and how they pair with specific foods/flavors. We learned so much about the potential enhancement of food when paired with the correct wine.
The walking was easy. The town is lovely. And Denée was friendly & knowledgeable. We would highly recommend this tour for families, or just groups of friends wanting to sample some of the best Healdsburg has to offer.

I highly recommend this tour. Denee was very friendly & knowledgeable and kept us on our timetable. Thoroughly enjoyed the variety of wines we tasted and learned so much about wine & food pairing. Denee also gave us helpful info about the town of Healdsburg. Highly recommend

Our tour guide Carol was awesome. She was very knowledgeable about the Healdsburg area as well as the tasting rooms we visited. All the foods and wines we tasted were very good and a great value for the money. There were a couple little surprises along the way as well.

What times do the tours start tomorrow September 23rd. Are we going to the wineries or just their wine shops? Are tastings outdoors? Is Jordan winery included in the tour?

Our tour started at 11 and ended just after 3. It's about 4 hours. Call them. Harold is awesome and starts tours at I believe 2 different times. The 4 hours flew by. This was one of the best things we did during our trip to Napa/Sonoma.
