We had an amazing day with Jonathan of Red Plum Tour. Jonathan is a very pleasant and experienced tour guide who spoke fluent English and gave us enriching insights into Pingyao's history and culture from a local's perspective. He also recommended some delicious Pingyao dishes for lunch and he was great company. Highly recommended tour guide.

Thanks for your time to write the nice review for our team. We know most of tourists just come to Pingyao and Shanxi once. So we should serve the nice tour services to our guests from car, driver, guide and even food tasty. We focus on serving the nice Shanxi tour service to guests.

On our trip to China we were looking for a place to visit between Xi’an and Beijing. Pingyao looked like an interesting place for a 1 day visit, but we wanted a guide to make the most of our time. Jonathon was highly recommended on Tripadvisor, so we decided to work with him during our visit. The service was very professional, with pickup at the train station and bringing us to our hotel. He was very knowledgeable on Pingyao and we learned a lot about the history. He also made it very interesting. I would highly recommend him for your visit.
