Justin and Scott were very informative and helpful. Justin took great pics of everyone on our tour and sent them to us so we didn’t miss anything. Saw two sea lions and a jelly fish

We had a great time! The weather was perfect. The only thing was that we wished we could’ve paddled a bit faster around the water. Overall had a good experience and would do it again :) Justin was very knowledgeable which made the experience extra fun.

We enjoyed every second of my kayaking experience with Justin, the owner of Laguna Ethos. Justin took us through different coves/beach areas in Laguna Beach, where we were within 20 yards of several dolphins and sea lions. I would highly (highly highly highly) recommend this terrific experience. When we return to Laguna this summer with my grandkids I plan on enjoying a bike tour with Justin or one of his experiences guides. BTW, call and make your reservations directly with Laguna Ethos - (you will get a much better deal).

Took my mom for her birthday and we had a great time! Nice equipment and felt totally comfortable with Justin as a guide. Learned some new things about Laguna Beach, saw garibaldi, and the water was incredibly blue. Definitely recommend!

What a wonderful morning, saw a young sea lion and a harbor seal and enjoyed the cruising the beautiful coastline. Justin is a wonderful guide. Highly recommend

What a fun and relaxing experience our kayak outing was!! Justin was a fantastic teacher and guide - patient, intuitive and engaging. It was great to see beautiful north Laguna from the water. We thoroughly enjoyed our first kayak experience and look forward to going out again!!

Sea kayaking with Laguna Ethos was a treat! Justin is personable and knowledgeable of the ocean life. We saw anchovies and the California state fish (Garibaldi). In a small cove we saw baby leopard sharks swimming beneath us. On the way back to Fisherman’s Cove, Justin spotted a harbor seal and had us wait so we could see it. After waiting for some time and just on our way to go back, Justin told us to turn around and there was a harbor seal checking us out! We rowed at our own pace and had a very relaxing kayak journey.

Are teens allowed on this trip? We have two 15 year olds in our party of 3 (1 adult + 2 teens). I can't seem to book the trip when I indicate there are 2 teenagers in the group.
They are both very capable of paddling and it would work well if the three of us could ride in one boat together. Is this possible?

My family and I are coming out to California in August. They all want to do the kayaking and it sounds like you have an awesome company and would be the right pick! I am a little afraid though. I am a 65 year old with arthritic knees and hips and not sure if I'd be able to do this with them; I don't want to hold them up. I went kayaking once with another son but it was in a little creek that if I tipped over, I could stand up and get back in. What do you think?

I have sed Ethos Laguna Kayaking several times and plan to this summer with my son. I live about 30 mins north and Ethos is locally owned, knowledgeable, a strong swimmer, and has all of the equipment. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this kayaking trip for you because of your knee and hip restrictions. Although the kayaking is safe, sometimes the waves at the beach can be difficult and you don't need to risk falling out. The guide can help you back in, but your physical limitations may make it very difficult. Also, siting for about 60 to 90 minutes can be hard on your hip and knee. I just sit and enjoy the beach while your family videos for you.
