The entire tour was great. We loved the covered wagon pulled by mules with an explanation by the naturalists, we loved their food, entertainment, barn dance, and quite frankly, everything! We were so glad they had a cancellation which allowed us to partake.

We enjoyed our adventure Saturday March 18, 2023. There were 8 of us from 12 to 75 years old. We had a marvelous time! Dinner and dessert was filling and very tasty! The wagon tour was very informative. Johnny and June were our mules. Rick our driver and Paul our guide. Bring your dancing boots! It was a lovely evening!

The Covered Wagon Adventure & BBQ was a highlight of our trip to the Palm Springs area. While on our wagon ride, guides Paul and Shelly shared information about the geography, plants, and Indigenous history. It was magical to walk within the palm tree oasis. Then the delicious barbeque and old time country music put it over the top. So much fun for all ages!

We had a fantastic evening at Covered Wagons.
First an exploration of the desert learning about the flora and fauna as well as the geology of the area. Our guide, Paul, had a wealth of knowledge of the area. He was very friendly and welcomed questions and engagement from everyone. Which was accessible to old and young alike. Fascinating to actually stand on the San Andreas fault!
Afterwards we returned to a cosy campsite with a Wild West show and country singing and dancing followed by a BBQ. Everyone joined in and it was great fun. Us being vegetarians presented no problem, though they did need to know in advance!
All the staff were wonderfully kind, friendly, welcoming and engaging from the young lads who served to Bill and his wife TJ, the proprietors

Our group of 9 adults had a wonderful time on this tour. We are still talking about it 2-3 days later. I made our reservation well in advance to accommodate so many calendars. Bill (from Covered Wagon) and I kept in contact through out the preceding days when we had questions or our numbers changed. Upon arrival we were met by our guide and ushered in to the dinner and entertainment venue. Due to tremendous wind we were not able to take advantage of the outdoor games. The tour itself was fun and educational. Upon return to the Ranch we enjoyed our adult beverages and those that were provided. The musical entertainment was great, the barn dancing was fun and the food was delicious and plentiful. Customer service was exceptional. The guides, the drivers and other staff became our wait staff to make it even more enjoyable. We all agreed, "We will be back!"

Wonderful outfit! So friendly and very organized. The cowboy docents were terrific and very knowledgeable on our covered wagon ride. Dinner was huge servings of brisket and chicken with hot pie for dessert. The entertainment was very good as well. The barn dance was a big hit!

A must do!! So much fun and entertaining!!! Everyone was welcoming and we enjoyed the barn dancing!! Dinner was delicious as well!!

People were very accommodating for handicapped person. Food was great! Good live music!
Take the early wagon if you choose this activity. We were on the later wagon and missed out on the line dancing lessons which my granddaughter was looking forward to doing.

We loved the Covered Wagon Tour! Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The tour itself was extremely informative and the driver and tour guide were both very knowledgeable. The live music was fun and we even participated in the barn dance! The performers were excellent. The meal was delicious and the company was even better. We plan to tell our friends!
