We hired the manual bikes for the day and thought it was a reasonable price. Had a lovely cycle to hermosa beach and back. Have also cycled to Manhattan before too. The ride is lovely and relatively flat the whole way. The bikes come with a lock and you have to ask for a basket with helmets optional. The staff member who served us was on the phone at the same time, we found this very rude as there was little to no communication.

We had a wonderful private cycle tour with Chad who was full of interesting stories and jokes. It’s a gentle and beautiful cycle along the cycle path beside the beach along to Venice and then through the canals. We would thoroughly recommend both the tour and Chad.

The Tour led by Shawn was really fun! He was very informative, attentive & made the whole journey super fun! Cycling along the beach was relaxing & vibe was great! I would highly recommend this bike tour!

Took the Santa Monica and Venice Beach Bike tour. It was my husband, sister-in-law, 13 year old nephew and myself. There was another couple with a 1 year old as well. Chad was our guide and he did a great job. He kept us well informed along the way. You start out riding through Santa Monica and then you take the bike trail along the beach into Venice Beach Boardwalk. Then you see the canals and ride back on City Streets to the Bike Shop. I liked having a guide to lead me along the way and not having to think about where to go and so forth. If you want to take a leisurely bike ride and check out any of the boardwalk to shop etc you will just want to rent bikes and do it on your own as there isn't much time to stop and do that sort of thing on this tour. Part of the reason could have been that my husband ended up getting a flat tire and the bike shop had to run another bike down which caused us a 15-20 minute delay. We were offered a little time to check out the skateboarding park and we stopped a few times for our guide to explain and point out some things. I would definitely recommend doing this if you want to see a little bit in the area and not have to think about what streets to take, totally felt safe the entire time.

My husband and I took our son, fiancee and granddaughter on the bike adventure tour and had a fabulous time! The ride along the Santa Monica beach was so refreshing and the tour through Venice was a great way to see the canals. Our guide was knowledgeable about the history of the area and did a wonderful job guiding our group. What a great way to get some fresh air and exercise and see this area.

Fabulous! Cheaper and safer than visiting a theme park. We had 7 on the electric bike tour. Shaun planned the trip and herded us ‘cats! Super easy to park car in same building. Location is in eyesight of the pier and beach bike trail. We were incredibly super thrilled that they had a 3 wheel electric bike for the 200 lb. autistic kid (who simply did the beach trail w grandma.) Two tips. 1) Remind your guests on the 2 hour tour ( that starts at 11 am) to eat breakfast, like we all did, and NOT insist they eat lunch (waiting in line to order, then eat) during the tour! and 2) I am an old grandma and by the time everyone left, the only bikes they had left were tall bikes! My tip toes could barely touch the ground when at a cross walk. I insisted they change it out for safety. They somehow came up with the shorter electric one. Crisis averted. This is a wonderful Covid activity. I can’t wait to return and do the whole trail. It’s world class. Was also glad for the grandkid to be educated to see as the tour walked the bikes through the extensive homeless camp (city?) in Venice Beach. Thanks Shaun and crew!

It definitely makes sense to get a good breakfast in before the tour, we'll make sure to update our reminder emails to include this advice. We decided last minute to rent a couple of bikes to bike down Venice Beach and around Santa Monica. We blindly chose this company and it was perfect! The bikes were clean, adjusted for each person, and equipped with front baskets. The store is conveniently located by the mall and just down the street from the Pier. The bike paths were simple and we had a great time biking down Venice Beach. Staff was awesome and happy to help.

This was a great way to see Santa Monica and Venice Beach. Atul was super informative and helped us maneuver through the streets and pathways.Our children aged 10,14 and 17 enjoyed the whole experience as well.

Hi, you probably should contact the company directly for age restrictions. There is a price for children 12 and under but I do not know what the minimum age is. We did a lot of riding and were on streets, at times, with cars. There is negotiating through areas with pedestrians also.
Is there availability for 3 adults tomorrow, June 5th for the 10am tour?

I have a small company outing planned, and your bike tour sounds great. But could we start it at 3:00 PM instead of 11:00 AM? There would be 7 adults
