Had a fantastic day seeing all the iconic places. Our driver Alan ( from uk) was very knowledgeable and lots of fun. I would highly recommend this trip.

Seating was very squashed for 3 people per seat and lacked comfort. Disappointed trying to get photos whilst vehicle was moving instead of stopping at authorised stops, knowledge of are was ok but no history about LA just about movie stars, in the description of the tour it said crime scenes and go to Hollywood sign, this did not happen but we didn’t even stop to get a photo. Commentator spoke too much about the traffic issues and the sign for $20 per person tip was offensive, if people are happy with the tour they will tip well. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the day

Pick up/drop off from our hotel was perfect to save on any extra travel.
Our driver, Joel, was entertaining and very knowledgeable regarding facts and figures for each area visited and encompassed a multitude of what L.A had to offer. His road knowledge and traffic trends enabled us to avoid many roadblocks. The open-sided tour bus was airy whilst moving but super hot in traffic and in the mid-afternoon sun but ideal for many photos and videos.
Maybe more time could have been allowed for the Rodeo Drive & the Walk of Fame stops instead of a whole hour at the Farmer’s market - the former areas were a little rushed and we only saw a fraction of what was on offer.
Overall the tour helped piece together the rough geography of each key landmark.

Such a cool way to see all the sites of LA! Allan our tour guide was funny and informative. He was very professional handling the obnoxious family that came aboard the tour. Allan made the tour very enjoyable!

I didn’t want to drive to see the beauty of Hollywood, I appreciate the pick up from my hotel! That made things easy, Kent was literally THE BEST. I read reviews and wanted to have him as a guide and I was so excited to experience his knowledge of Hollywood. Super cool, polite, knows where all the restrooms are which is crazy awesome!

I loved this tour and the Surf City tour Guide was so hilarious and full of energy I would recommend Surf City Tours for anyone especially for people outside USA who want to explore LA.

My husband and I only had one full day in LA and were staying at Marina Del Ray Hotel that recommended the 5 1/2 tour for us. It was our first time to California.
I was so pleased to see the open air truck that came to pick us up at our hotel (I was fearing being on a coach bus all day). Kent was our driver/tour guide and he was great! He was a writer and movie buff and had a passion for the area, with tons of interesting information. We made three stops where we were able to wander around on our own, which was great.
The tour ended at their surf shop, where we were able to walk a block to see the Santa Monica Pier and beach. We then ended up eating a nice dinner at a little Mexican restaurant right beside the surf shop that Kent recommended.
My only recommendation for this tour would be to add some of the beach areas to the tour (I was dying to see the beach scenes and maybe less commercial shopping)
We were so thankful that our hotel arranged this tour for us, as it was a great taste of the highlights of LA. Would highly recommend.

Santa Monica Pier car park - they will send you the post code in booking confirmation email. It’s 5 minutes walk from pick up point

Hello, on this tour can we get off the tour bus and get on another if we decide to stay longer in an area? Also, it has been recommended that tI got to Santee Alley Shopping District - does the tour bus go near there?

You can’t get off and on this tour. We did go to some popular shopping area where we had about an hour to shop and eat. Also had awhile at a few other stops but you are on a set fixed tour.
